You are welcome! MROUND is great because it avoid the old way we used to do this with =ROUND(Time/"00:05",0)*"00:05"...

Yes, you can use a cell with 01:00:00 or use the number 1/24.

Good day sir! I have a column range (C4:C1004)=($A$4*(B_Range)/1000). In B_Range, ie. (B4:B1004) I have numbers incrementing from 1 to 1000. What I want here is my constant value from A cell should get multiplied with each number of B column and incrementing values in C column. Please reply ASAP

Is there a way other than mround ?

Why? What version of Excel are you using? Anyway, you can round to nearest 5 minutes without using MROUND by using this formula: =ROUND(H9/$I$6,0)*$I$6 or =ROUND(H9/"00:05",0)*"00:05"

Hi Mike, another way is 'ceiling' if for example employees are paid rounded up to the nearest 15 mins for example. =ceiling(H9,0.25) will always round Up to the next 15 min, rather than the closest. (It does cause queues at the clock-out as people wait for the clock to pass the magic hour to get their free 15 mins...)
