Ever thought about tracking the Top 10 hits from the UK singles chart in Excel? Well, guess what - it's totally doable, and in this video I show you how.
I'll be using "Add Table Using Examples", a brand new feature of Power Query, currently limited to users on the 365 Beta Channel, to grab data straight from the web. You'll see how easy it is to pull the hottest tracks into your spreadsheet without breaking a sweat.
And because I love making things look good, I’ll walk you through adding thumbnail images for each song with the IMAGE function.
Once the data's loaded, I'll use Power Query to clean it up and finally I’ll show you how to keep an eye on the movers and shakers with a nifty column for tracking last week’s chart positions. Perfect for spotting trends and future bangers!
Whether you're here to merge your love for music with some Excel wizardry, or just looking to pick up a new trick or two, this video’s got you covered.
