Hi Mike. A great statistical / financial formula workout! I use these daily, but like the reminder of what is under the hood and how to calculate in multiple ways. Thanks for the great lesson! Thumbs up!!

Excellent discussion on why and how to calculate average growth rate. I learnt new formula of RRI. It resembles with formula of IRR. Whenever growth multiplier involved we must use GM. We calculate GM in our curriculum but it is the way we are to calculate not by calculator but by excel with logic. Thank you for such indepth analysis

You are welcome, Chris M!!!!! They will keep on coming, just slower than in my earlier years (14 years back here at KZitem), when I could post 10-20 videos per week... Now I am lucky if I do 2 or 3 lol

Great video!!Super explanation!!✌Not using spilled formulas makes understanding lot easier indeed. Anyhow, for fun, "%Change(Growth Rate)" spilled (in E52): =LET(a,D51:D87,r,ROWS(a)-1,s,SEQUENCE(r),INDEX(a,s+1)/INDEX(a,s)-1) ✌😉

No, but I have a 110 video playlist all about Finance: kzitem.info/door/PL90E1F26C7B85E78F In this stats class, I only refer to all the cool things we can do in finance. Just as this stats class is 50 videos, the topic of finance is equal as involved.

Hi Mike, do you run any courses that cover Statistical analysis? I have been looking for work as a Data Analyst, and have noticed many companies ask for a background in Statistics (of which I have none). Keep up the excellent work with your KZitem channel, I have learnt a great deal from your videos over the years. What makes you different to other channels is your enthusiasm, I don't feel bored watching your videos. Oh, and the useful keyboard shortcuts you mention! I'll never forget ALT N V for inserting pivot tables lol Have a great day

You must be new to my channel, although you say you have watched videos for years. For 14 years I have been posting free statistical classes here at KZitem. Here is a full statistical class with 75 videos: kzitem.info/door/PLrRPvpgDmw0ngx_uPhvasTbOWLOztsaBj Here is a full 75 video analytics class (class after the first one): kzitem.info/door/PLrRPvpgDmw0mSJCZaqQPFj0eto4qnzkCZ Also, it is funny that you ask if I have stats classes, the video you just commented on is part of the new stats class that I am in the middle of, but it is only 10% complete, so it is best to go with the above playlists.

@@excelisfun Hi Mike, thank you for your response. I should have clarified - when I said "course" I meant as in a course that would result in me sitting an exam / receiving a certificate to say I have completed it etc, for e.g. like a Microsoft certification. I plan on studying for the DA-100. I have followed your videos on and off the past few years, but that's obviously not something concrete I could put on a CV to impress an employer (if that makes sense). Most of my credibility comes from spreadsheets I have designed, though that appears to put me at an disadvantage versus people who have qualifications etc Thank you for your response and have a good day 👍👍👍
