I love the potential you see in your garden. My son picked our very first green bean today! My thought was to put that one green bean in my harvest basket to take a photo because I know that I'm going to take another photo when I have a basket full! I can't wait to see that corn of yours! I just know that it's going to be something special. Happy growing to you all!🌱

HEY URSULA, YOUR GARDEN IS LOOKING GOOD....JUST WANTED TO SHARE SOMETHING ABOUT THE CORN, I HAND POLLINATED MINE AND MY EARS WERE FULL OF KERNELS, I TOOK A TASSEL OR 2 AND RUBBED THEM OVER THE SILKS (I BELIEVE YOU HAVE A 7 DAY WINDOW OF TIME FOR THIS) AND OH BABE, WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE COMPARED TO MY 1ST YEAR GROWING. GIVE IT A TRY AND LET ME KNOW (AND I HOPE TO SEE THE RESULTS IN THE VIDEO WHEN YOU HARVEST 🌽🌽) 🙏🏽🙏🏽 GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY GARDENING 😉😊💓💓

I just love peppers all kinds. I’ve got so many kinds grown and I even got the candy cane jalapeño started out the other day but if you cut the leaves off, it’s even better cause it’ll help you produce more fruit so do cut them leaves trim them leaves off the leaves that are covering the flower because protecting from the sun.

Hey meb4142, I didn't know that. I just cut the seed pods off and was getting ready to pull it up and get rid of the plant then it rained for about a week straight and new leaves starting growing. Thanks for the info, enjoy your evening.

Hey cuz.... I use neem oil to control those leaf eating pest and it works great, I'm in Texas i've been gardening for about 5yrs, but try that it made a big difference for me..... luv you cuz..... Ernest

Hey cuz...I have neem oil and use it occasionally but the problem is it rains almost everyday here so I don't want to have to keep reapplying it. I'll try to wait for a rainless day to spray it. Boy or boy, gardening is truly in our family genes, I didn't know you had a garden as well. Love you too cuz...
@tishar

Hi, Ms. Ursula. Try diatomaceous earth for bugs. One problem though...with all this rain we get it may have to be reapplied often.
@harveycontainergardener332

Hey @tishar, thanks for the suggestion. We have been getting rain daily here is SE Louisiana so it would need to be reapplied daily. Hopefully we get a few days of no rain and I can try it. Enjoy your evening.

Over winter it again you can do it up to about four years when you bring it back out in the spring just amend the soil. Yes, it does after four years overwintering you can go up to four years.

Hey Deltorres, I hope so...I was experimenting on the suckers and was supposed to get rid of the ones that's been growing in cups since March but it's really hard for me to get rid of a plant that wants to grow. If all of them produce, my family will be overloaded with tomatoes.
@deltorres2100

So I have about four or six tomato plants that I think came back from next year, but I did plant a few seedlings of tomatoes. They’re barely coming up so I am gonna put them somewhere so I have just succession plan some more cucumbers, but this time the Armenian long, and of course the lemon that you have going, but have these new ones cucumbers and they go up and they’re starting to do that they start to troll us now I said I’m 2425 jars of pickles. Every time I go into the garden about 4 to 6 more
@harveycontainergardener332
5 күн бұрын
Hey Deltorres, do you think your tomatoes are barely coming up because of the extreme heat, it may be better to place them with some shade during the hottest part of the day. The Armenian long cucumber sounds good, I may try those next year. I like the lemon cucumber but it doesn't have a lot of flesh but lots of seeds. I do want more pickling cucumbers so I can finally make some pickles. Enjoy your evening.
