My dad and I are coming to the Coliseum from Cincinnati when the Reds are in town in April. Excited to see a stadium with such a rich history! I do hope that the A’s stay in Oakland for the sake of the A’s fans. If anyone deserves a new ballpark, it is them.

Do yourself a favor when you visit, go across the Bridge to SF and catch a game at Oracle park. A much better baseball experience, believe me that you’ll enjoy it a lot more than the coliseum. Like you said, the coliseum has a rich history in sports. I’m an A’s fan and have experienced numerous memories at the coliseum. However you don’t walk into the coliseum and immediately take in the history of the stadium. You walk into Fenway, Wrigley or even Dodger Stadium and you instantly know that these history there. However you just don’t have that same reaction with the coliseum. I love that stadium, but unfortunately it never became the baseball gem like Wrigley or Fenway.

I know the Coliseum gets a bad rap but this is our home. One man's trash is another man's treasure. GO A's

I grew up as a Dodgers fan because my dad is from Southern California, but the Coliseum and the A's will always hold a special place in my heart. I grew up going to A's games and can honestly say that they are huge reason why I love the sport so much. I had birthday parties at games. I saw Miguel Tejada's walk off of Eddie Guardado in win #18 of the Streak in 2001. I've spent hours playing catch in the parking lot before games. I miss seeing the Banjo Man, and starting this year, I'll miss hearing Hal the Hot Dog guy. I'll be very upset if the A's leave Oakland. I can't wait to come back to the Bay to get to a game this year.

In Love with this! - (just saw as B-Roll filler for the Nevada legislative live session we are waiting for) - Need more of this footage before the stadium wakes up for the game. I imagine it plays as Monte Moore (pick your fave announcer) calls the memorable moments as the audio finds you coming around a corner - crowd cheers and more - AWESOME CAMERA WORK!

Memories that will last a lifetime. The place where I fell in love with baseball. The place where I went with my family. Will always be home.

Thanks! Good God I love this place.😢 Going to kill me when they eventually tear it down. My father took me to every 70's World Series game. I still have the programs and memorabilia. My mother flipped out each year because of calling me in sick to school every time there was a World Series game for three years.😆 I did however learn from her by calling myself in sick to work for the 80's world series games I went to. Thanks Brodie for doing what you do!

Even though they won't, I want the A's to make the World Series so the whole stadium including mt. davis can be full. Would be one of the largest in-person crowds ever

'Had to retire b4 attending games at Coli, and we love it. It's fixable, especially storm drainage probs, unsafe dugouts, broken seats, zero landscaping, and lack of destination development surrounding it. Vintage historic venue. Perfect climate. Natural turf. No AC 😂.

No. Haas family changed them to orange in the 80's. Gradually returned to green after change of ownership and Raiders return.

Would removing Mt Davis bleachers help HRs get out more often? Flags suggest air swirls in park.
