I've been waiting for this one, great!!! You said that it's hard to separate any "system" from the other systems and I agree. However, it is also known that not every chronic ankle instability patient presents with all deficits (input-output). For example, there's evidence to show that many people do not have muscle strength deficits, but may have somatosensory deficits (force sense, joint position sense, plantar sensation). Of course, not every patient is the same but I guess the loose framework would remain the same? And the traditional hop tests usually only test muscle power, which may or may not be present. Test like the side hop test, figure-of-8 hop test and square hop test seem to be better at detecting perceived instability.

Yes, I think it remains the same. You'll never separate anything performed in context, and it's impossible to test one thing. Sensory vs. Motor is a man-made distinction. The system uses it's own output as an input. It's all one system. Thanks for watching.

@@filipzivkovic4866 No bother. Yes, hip IR for sure. It gives us the best shot at getting through propulsion without compensation.
