Physical therapists and personal trainers often LOVE to prescribe exercises to strengthen the neck muscles (upper trapezius, scalene, etc.). This is MADNESS.
Posture correction follows 3 main rules (the 3 Rules of Posture: • The 3 RULES OF POSTURE... ). Rule #2 states that the neck should always remain relaxed... therefore, neck strengthening exercises are not only useless, but also dangerous.
