When this part fails, gets stuck, or becomes inoperative, the vehicle throws the ECU to code P1480 / 1485 EGRV Circuit Malfunction or EGR valve problem.
Renault's R9M engine has 2 EGR Valves.
The first of these. EGR-HP valve that can be clogged before the catalyst and needs to be cleaned periodically. The purpose of this valve is to make the amount of exhaust gases discharged from the cylinders in the range of 5 percent and 40 percent back into the cylinders by mixing with the fresh air through the intake manifold. By reducing the temperature of these gases in the EGR valve, the combustion temperature in the cylinders decreases, the engine becomes healthier. In this way, the emission values of the exhaust gas decrease, the combustion of the exhaust gases increases the efficiency, the fuel consumption is positively affected as a result of the increase in the efficiency.
The second one is as follows
It has 1.6dci low pressure EGR.

These greases can withstand exhaust temperature.
