I just finished this one. For the most part I thought it was OK. I liked how they used the wands across multiple riddles, and how it encourages cooperation if you're playing with multiple people. I thought the instructions were mostly clear if you had good observation skills. The square riddle actually could be reduced down quite a lot if you realize what you're specifically looking for. There were two that I didn't like too much. The first is the one involving the vines, which I found to be quite tedious. The other was the finale, but it was mostly due to not really understanding the setup initially. It didn't help that the components involved had funny names which ended up with me accidentally spending a long time trying to solve it without the correct components. As for the rhyme, it was just referring to one of the riddle cards you would have at that point. It is certainly a stretch to call it a rhyme you'd remember, but as usual, plot is secondary to puzzles and it doesn't need to be thought too deeply about.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one! I didn’t like the vine one either, it was very tedious as you mentioned. If my memory is correct I think it was the first puzzle with the wands that didn’t work well and was a little finicky. If you’ve done more of the Exit puzzles which one would be your favourite?

@@thefinalforecast The wand one worked OK for me, although I ended up just test fitting over each potential position instead of tracing. If you actually do trace, it then becomes fairly awkward. I think my favorite riddle is probably the one at the end of The Gate Between Worlds. The Catacombs of Horror also had some nice riddles, but I absolutely could not understand the last riddle and it took me several readthroughs of the solution card to finally figure out how they got the answer.
