Great video. I took my new Exo Mtn K3 bag out for its 1st trip to Afognak, AK. It did a great job handling the bull that we dropped. I brought along the crib which really helped cinch it all in real tight. I would recommend this pack to anyone. It easily handled everything I threw at it. It was also a big upgrade in comfort (at pack-out weight) over my previous MR bag. I will be studying this youtube channel before my next outing. Pack worked really well for me but these guys/designers are able to get every ounce of performance out of the bag/frame. It took me a good 15-20 mins to get my gear, meat and head all squared away (had to cheat with some para-cord). Next time, after study, I bet I will have it down to 10 mins and no cord required. Crib was a great choice for training too. Nothing locks in a bag of softener salt like that crib did. Keep up the good work Exo!!!

Simplicity. I love it. I’ve run the same pack for 6 years from another competitor and though it is light and has served me very well, breaking down the pack every time I go to haul quarters out has always had me wanting something easier and more simple. I have found it. I just bought a K3 3200 5 minutes ago and I’m super pumped to run it through its paces. I have 0 doubt it will perform. I’m fully expecting to use it and wonder why i didn’t opt that direction in the first place. After watching all the information and fitting videos, the thought and design that went in to these frame and suspension systems is genius. Easy and quick. Thanks again Steve and crew

My exo k3 1800 came in today and I'm pumped to load it up and test it out this weekend while shed hunting. Right out of the box it fit perfectly! Just have to load up my gear and get me a sand bag or something to haul on the meat shelf. I'll be training non stop between now and September. Couldn't be happier with the purchase of this pack 😎

Excellent video Iam glad to see you using the military knee load . I still use that in my 60s as you get older it’s the only way to get it on your back . The sit on the ground and try to roll to your knees method although may work there’s a better chance of hurting yourself. Excellent job 👊🏻
@lnaesll

I didn’t do the knee load. I’d sit down into the pack and then roll over and stand up. It’s more dangerous to fling that thing around onto your shoulder.

@@lnaesll just to clarify if the knee load is done properly there’s no flinging of the pack it’s quite smooth even with 100 pounds in the pack . I did a video 3 years ago on my channel on how to do it those that end up fling and swinging are usually women and men with no enough upper body strength. So for them the turtle roll is their only option

just bought the 6400. 6'3" and just over 300lbs. Was 325lbs on Feb 1 2022. Plan to be 240-250lbs by October and hoping the silver lining of being such a fat ass for a time, will be to hoist a pack filled with meat and my body already be used to it. Looking forward to that feeling

This is a custom 6.5 Creedmoor I had built. It's an incredibly accurate and easy to shoot gun. Since this video I swapped the stock for a MDT Hnt26 chassis. For me is damn near the perfect gun for what I am doing hunting Western big game. - Steve

The bag I was using on this hunt was our 3200. Nothing changes in this video however if you were to change the bag size, all the bags mount to the same K3 Frame. Your capacity to haul meat stays the same, just the amount of gear you can haul changes between the bag sizes. - Steve
