So true. He doesn't do a lot of interviews (esp on camera), and not many in English. I always watch for them. Was one last week, but can't translate it. I read some of his background in an extensive Twitter thread months ago (with photos) introducing some of Ukraine's key military people, by someone who knew. Absolutely fascinating.
@larsrons7937
@@moxie591 Yes he predicted Russia's invasion very precisely. Interestingly enough the US spy chief (CIA) visited Ukraine in January 2022, also bringing the Russia invasion plans (I don't know if any dates were included). Military analyst Anders Puck Nielsen (KZitem channel) also in January predicted Russia's invasion quite precisely, to "the end of the Olympics" (ending on 20th February). Interestingly enough when Putin called (when?) for the invasion to start they had to handbreak "for a few days" because many vehicles etc. needed urgent repairs first. On the evening 23rd February the invasion was announced (heard one hour into that evenings U.N. Security Council's emergency meeting live stream) and the tanks started rolling.

Budanov, seen here predicting victory for Ukraine in 2023, has not appeared in public since May 29, when he posted a video threatening Moscow and promising a quick response to missile strikes. (Who's the Australian reporter?)

This man is so interesting, so young, so determined and dedicated to his country, a true patriot and warrior as he used to be on the front lines until serious injuries, he’s a man who will get the job done by any means necessary, he’s an outside of the box type thinking person, he loves owls and bows and arrows, he’s definitely an inspiration to Ukraines people, I have a feeling he will be just fine, he realizes his risks, phenomenal man 👏 👏 👏 Just look at the way he responds, he waits, gives straight and short answeres

Offense is the best defense. You can't just play with explosives in your own backyard, you need to bring it to the other side. I'm glad theyll go deeper and deeper into Russia, it's about time, pootin is a mad man.

A united message. I love this guy. Exactly the words of his president. Exactly the words of every Ukrainian. His message to the US taxpayer is why we support Ukraine, we know you will spend every penny wisely, and you will win, this year. 2023.

This man gives the impression of being *confident.* Very confident. Ukraine through and through seems confident. Putin trying to appear confident gives the opposite impression of being uneasy. Try to review the official Russian footage from Putin's celebration of the "annexations" last September. Noone seem happy and Putin... stares with an empty glance into the air. Ukraine is irreversibly winning this war and the Russian top knows it. *Slava Ukraini! - Heroyam Slava! - Stay safe!*

What? Putin will rest in Berlin? I must see that before I believe it. But every day it becomes ever more likely that we will soon _all_ see where Putin will rest (if it's a place where he can get any rest).

@@larsrons7937 You see, terrorism doesn't pay. Similar to Bin Laden. Mr. Budanov thought he would be spared because he has the funding and weaponry from a number of corrupt governments, but that was not the case. This is the fate of all terrorists.

LOL! I love this guy's answers! Even if predictions do no come to pass on the timeline he gave, I feel the confidence is there that victory is achievable, or Putin's inevitable eventual death.

I always wonder.....should they really be talking openly about Ukraine plans and positions on the internet. It's not like Russia doesn't snoop around and see it..........unless thats the art of misinformation and misdirection. This guys is as vague as it gets. I like him.

Like Ukraine publically announced the counter offensive in Kherson for months... Russia send tens of thousands of troops there. Then Ukraine started the counter offensive in Kharkiv and the Russians were trapped in Kherson xD It isn't of much value if Russia watches this and doesn't know if they are being played or not xD

He doesn't say anything he doesn't want to. Could be misdirection. Ukraine will watch, and when there's an opportunity, they'll strike. One thing that makes Ukraine's military more effective is their flexibility.
