Instead of talking about these elevators, instead I'm going to do a rant on this property. First of all, this is a 60 story building, but only the first 20 floors of the building is a hotel. Literally 2/3rds of the building is residences. That wouldn't be a huge deal except it literally costs $900 to spend ONE night at this property, and the end cost of a weekend here will be more than my new computer and Final Cut Pro combined. For reference, the Four Seasons Philadelphia is like $200 cheaper, and that property takes up the top 13 floors of a 60 story building. Not to mention, the elevators there are my favorites of all time while the elevators here are not worth checking out considering the tight security. It's a miracle I got in the door here and an even bigger miracle I didn't get booted out of here. Also these elevators are super hard to find if you don't know where to look.
By the way, don't stay here just to film the elevators. These elevators are equipped with floor specific key card readers, so odds are you'd get put on the 8th floor and then you wasted A LOT of money.
Ranting aside, these elevators are pretty great, although the residential elevators are 1400 FPM KONE Polaris elevators, which makes these look super underwhelming. I do like the cabs though.
This video is for @bostonelevatorsaviation , who was only able to get up to the 12th floor here. I wasn't going to post this originally but he asked me to so I figured why not.
