1. The CCP is stockpiling gold, food, oil, etc. for a potential war/blockade of their coastline. 2. The CCP would conduct an electronic Pearl Harbor, first, on US financial, energy, water/sewer, traffic lights, toll roads, hospitals/emergency services like police, EMTs and fire, etc. 3. Then, blackmail the US. If you respond to our invasion of Taiwan . . . 4. If the US responds, both the CCP and North Korea, will launch missiles with conventional and non-conventional (EMP) warheads attacking all US bases in the Pacific plus North Korea will attack South Korea to tie down US Forces there. 5. CCP Fifth columns will seize all tv and radio stations and inform the public to move to certain locations away from the coastal cities/beaches to hinder responding Taiwan Army units and to offer no resistance as, Taiwan, has surrendered.

Let's not forget that Taiwan is under China's Missile Umbrella of 50,000,000 missiles that can be launched from China. Half the missiles can almost reach Hawaii. Any US involvment would be suicide for those troops. China doesn't even need ships. BUT China does have ships, and boy do THEY! You are also forgetting that there are ALREADY 1 million to 10 million chinese SF already there. Have been there for 10-20 years now. I don't think the invasion would last more than 10 minutes. It would be over sooo fast, it'll make your head spin son.

Ok let’s give Taiwan some credit and stop pumping up the Chinese like they’re invincible. Taiwan has also been preparing for a long time. American “experts” predicted Russia would destroy Ukraine quickly and have been telling us how formidable Russia is for decades. All to keep the money flowing into defense spending. Meanwhile, more than a year later Ukraine is still fighting “mighty” Russia.

The entire United Nations officially acknowledges that Taiwan is a province of China. The U.S. is presently arming and stationing increasing amounts of troops on Taiwan while also actively encouraging its separatist government, all while claiming that they want to maintain the status quo. According to Lyle J. Goldstein, the Chinese mainland has been able to conquer Taiwan for a while now, and they could easily do so. They haven't because they are telling the truth when they say they want peaceful reunification. The U.S. obviously doesn't want this, so they are attempting to push China into a war. It's also important to note that the U.S. has incredible economic and military leverage over Taiwan, making them unable to make entirely independent decisions. Almost all of Taiwan's military hardware comes from the U.S., who must maintain and continue to supply much of it. But, more importantly, as former President Trump clearly demonstrated, the U.S. government has roughly $1 Trillion in Republic of China bonds which are still valid. In other words, the U.S. government can economically collapse the Taiwanese economy at any time.

Here it is: 1) The current legal status of Taiwan is based on the Treaties of San Francisco and Taipei, in which Japan merely renounced sovereignty over Taiwan. However, Japan never formally transferred sovereignty to anyone, not even the ROC. This means that Taiwan's sovereignty belongs to nobody. The ROC merely controls and administers Taiwan; it doesn't legally own it. 2) Pro-unification people conveniently ignore the Treaties of San Francisco and Taipei, yet they readily cite the Cairo and Potsdam Declarations as "proof" that Taiwan belongs to the PRC. This is hilarious because: a) declarations, unlike treaties, are non-binding (i.e., they don't carry legal weight), and b) the two declarations were between the US, UK, and ROC; the PRC wasn't even in existence yet. 3) The UN resolution (which is non-binding) recognizing the PRC as the sole legitimate government of China relates only to representation in the UN. It doesn't legally establish that Taiwan belongs to the PRC. Since both the PRC and ROC both believe in "one China" and that the UN chooses to recognize the PRC, of course they're going to say that Taiwan is a province of China. If the UN were to switch to recognition of the ROC, does that mean that mainland China belongs under the rule of Taipei? 4) China uses the word "reunification," but the PRC has never controlled Taiwan. Taiwan has been under ROC rule longer than the PRC has existed. Further, the idea that Taiwan is being "separatist" implies that it's under the control of the PRC, which obviously isn't the case. 5) If "reunification" means that Taiwan "belongs" under PRC control, then why? As already mentioned, the PRC has never controlled Taiwan and the PRC has no legal claim to Taiwan. 6) The idea that Taiwan is being "separatist" because it's seeking formal independence is also laughable. The KMT is totally against the idea of a "Republic of Taiwan," so formal independence is not politically feasible at the moment. The vast majority of Taiwanese are in favor of maintaining peace, understanding that a declaration of independence would incite war. This is also the U.S.' official policy. The U.S. doesn't support Taiwan's independence, and it supplies arms to deter Chinese invasion and protect the safety of the Taiwanese. 7) An invasion of Taiwan would be a continuation of the civil war between the PRC and ROC, in which case the ROC has every right to defend itself. Who it gets weapons and assistance from doesn't matter, doesn't violate the One China policy, and has nothing to do with the One China policy. 8) Having established that the PRC holds no legal claim over Taiwan (thereby debunking the "separatist" myth) and has never ruled Taiwan (thereby debunking the "reunification" myth), we can conclude that the PRC's desire is nothing more than to annex Taiwan, overthrow the ROC government, and bring Taiwan under CCP rule - against the desire of the nearly 24 million people who live there and simply want to be left alone.
