Lain empty for many years the former Toad Hall in Ainsdale was the place to be in the 70’s and 80’s. It operated after this as one of the first online hairdressing suppliers and also as a printers.
It’s original purpose was as a seaside retreat for the city folk who wanted to experience the health benefits of seaside life, later becoming a boarding house.
Now home to a huge mural painted by the Liverpool artist Paul Curtis the building still has no definitive future.
