Come explore lush, award-winning wineries, learn Mi'kmaq legends and the history of early settlements, experience the site of the worlds highest tides, and more, in the Bay of Fundy and Annapolis Valley region.
On the northern coast of the Bay of Fundy, in the Minas Basin, the landscape within the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark showcases geological history dating back 300 million years. Throughout the Bay of Fundy, climb 300-foot cliffs overlooking waters where 12 species of whales come to mate, play and feast on plankton each ear. When the tide is out, walk on the ocean floor and see how the tide can drop the height of a four-storey building.
Across this region, feast on local food and craft beverages at delicious, locally inspired restaurants, wineries, breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies. During harvest seasons, pick local fruit including blueberries and apples, or stop by a plethora of farmer's markets for fresh, local fare.
