Y'all seriously need more recognition. This is like the one abandoned location channel O could find that wasn't clickbaity, or overly annoying or talked way too much. You let the eerieness of the location speak for itself. I respect that.

Love the music, wonder why all the rooms faced out onto the pool area. I would have liked a room with a view outside. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it!

Yes there was actually only one row that faced the outside. Not sure if you had a choice honestly. Very odd design.

Damn, I stayed here back in summer 2008 when this was still a Best Western yes it used to be a best western and it was a nice one at that. I cannot believe that place closed when I stayed here everything was well kept and the riff raff was kept out. One of the rooms you guys were walking through was the one I stayed in back in 2008 I was heading up to Mackinac Island with my late grandfather who wanted to take me on a Michigan road trip while he was in town he lived in indianapolis, indiana at the time. Room 140 is the one I was in back in 2008 timstamp 0:59-1:06 it's sad to see this place go. I cannot believe the owners who turned it into a Americas Best Value Inn let it get so darn bad. Makes me upset to be honest.

Maybe if they had installed small kitchens in each room and rented it out it would still be alive and it would not have to be at same standards. Its economically hard to run a hotel in most any place.

@DetroitEXP

Actually I could not. I know there were two rooms that were being painted with an ugly paint. I wonder if theses rooms were charred and they were just painting over it. Hard to tell.

@@RangerRickTV Yeah Flint and saginaw has a lot of stuff. Port Huron and grand rapids sort of too, but not much. Last thing I checked out/painted in port huron was the abandoned Kimball sports arena. Super cool. I'm not sure if it was demolished since then though
