I explore also. But although this house was wonderful this felt like breaking and entering into somewhere not long left. Publishing this especially with the outside photo is just inviting disaster for this place and the wonderful antiques. Elwell painting is worth a tidy sum. Wow the best guy on you tube is back, I think I speak for everyone by saying we really missed you, and what a fantastic video to come back with, the length of the video was amazing to & wish it could of been longer because like everyone else we love you Stare. What an amazing house, that beautiful furniture & those beautiful pictures on the wall, I love looking at the old photos from the 1800's & 1900's, there's just something magical about them. I hope all that stuff is saved & some relative comes forward, I think some of the stuff should be in a museum like the old telephone. Anyway Stare really great to see you again on here, please stay safe & a belated happy New year to you. Andy. 👍😊👍

Hi Andy, it good to be back with a new house to show you at last. Like you I also loved that old telephone, it was actually plugged into the phone socket so they were actually still using it :) I love these old houses with nothing modern in them, some people are happy using things they grew up with so didn’t see the need to buy more up to date things like microwaves etc. Anyway good to hear from you again my old friend, speak soon.

We married in 1970 and are in our early 70s and we hike and cycle despite arthritis. So these ppl either didn't keep themselves fit after retirement or something killed them that they couldn't do anything about. So sad. We definitely think they're forefathers we're extremely wealthy. Some of that stuff looks like stately home stuff. The garden's look like they've never been tended in decades. Maybe it's in probate. So sad to see ppls' lifetime belongings just left to rot. A ceiling takes some time to drop like that. I love long videos and alas not many ppl make them.

Mary Dawson Elwell (1874-1952) Bradford Museums and Galleries Painter, notably of interiors, also landscapes, born in Liverpool, daughter of a shipping merchant. She married Hull oil broker George Holmes who died in 1913, then the painter Fred Elwell, with whom she studied, in 1914. His portrait of his wife is held by the Borough Council in Beverley, Yorkshire, where they settled. Her money enabled the Elwells to travel extensively on the continent. She exhibited often at RA, also at SWA, RSA, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and elsewhere, although a stroke in 1945 incapacitated her. There was a retrospective of the work of the two Elwells in 1953 at Beverley Art Gallery and Ferens Art Gallery, Hull.

Do u ever keep some things of value? I assume u would being that all things have been left behind n in some situations houses can get bulldozed n essentially end up in a landfill which wld be unfortunate. Imo if yourself or someone in general was to keep certain items now n then...i don't consider that 2 be stealing based on the fact that the contents wers abandon left 2 rot n disrepair. I'm sure their are people that wld disagree but I know if they had the opportunity 2 come across items such as these, that they liked "I know it's a lie if they were 2 say they wldnt keep any items". Of course it wld sound all wholesome n "better than thou" to say that they wouldn't leave wth anything but come on...

I'm sorry but you have no right to be in that house, and encouraging others to do the same in their area. We are in the same situation with our family house, been in the family since 1850 plus outbuildings. Uncle died in 2015 executors are his younger brother and a lady friend who was a lodger who could carry on living there after his death. She is now in a home with Altzimers and we as a family cannot enter the house for legal reasons, we have to wait until she dies. The house is in a similar state as this one shown, and still with furnishings etc. Our greatest fear is thugs breaking in and setting the place on fire. There are many house like this throughout the country left like this for whatever reason. You seem to respect everything as such, but you still have no right to be there regardless.

Hi Chrissy, good to hear from you again. I havent filmed anything for quite some time now. My boy has just turned 15 and im trying to spend more time with him on the weekends to get him off his Ipad which he seems hooked on. Maybe at some point in the future i might start again as i do miss it. Hope you are well and enjoying the Florida Sun 😀

Yeah apparently the first black and white photo was produced in France in 1825 and first colour one 1841 in Scotland so photographs have been around quite a long time but previously expensive until digital came along.
