Liking the format almost subscribed at the drone footage to start, couldn't resist after talking about being good campsite stewards! Awesome video & showing off the GPNF!

I think Washington State is Sasquatch country. I'm from Tacoma. Last summer I camped at Olympic National Forest. At 2am, I woke up from a deep sleep from branches breaking around me. It went on for 5 minutes or so. I told the forest ranger about my weird experiences. He just dismissed me and told not worry about it. It's probably a deer. What kind of forest noises did you hear at the Gifford National Forest?
@ourpnwadventures

Oh man that's a crazy experience!! We eould of been freaked out big time!! They are definitely up in the Olympics and can't wait to camp up there. Actually where we have camped in the Giff, it is dead quiet at night. Nothing. But always ready and keeping our ears open. Thanks for the comment!! 👣

I live in White Salmon and have spent years in GPNF. You ever explore the big lava bed and see the crater? It’s pretty cool

No we haven't yet. Closest place we have been to there is Panther Creek Falls and hiking in the Indian Heaven Wilderness. Definitely need to go there. Thanks!!

Nice video! Great editing! And this scenery is incredible. How far up the road were sites 3-5? I’m into the whole Bigfoot thing. Also, what month was this?
@ourpnwadventures

Hey! The road is about 4 miles so site 3-5 is about at the top - 3-4 miles up. We were there June 9th. We camped there in October and had no experiences.

I am pretty new to the area, and feel free to not answer but how would I go about finding your campsite #2? Or the one with the waterfall =] I would love to take my children there!
@ourpnwadventures

That area is right between Mt Adam's & Mt St Helen's. On a road called NF-90. Campsite #2 is off and up on a mountain rd (9085) & the waterfall campsite is called Twin Falls Campground right off the 90. Shhhhh don't tell anyone else. Lol
