Love it. I grew up in Rowley and am familiar with many of the other towns you visited. We get back and visit Rowley regularly. Next time, go to Rowley the last Saturday of the month for a Pizza Night in Sam's Saloon.😁

Thanks for checking out the video, glad you enjoyed it. Also, thanks for the pizza tip, who can pass on ghost town pizza? If you think of any other weird/interesting things to see in that area, let me know.

My sister had a painting/contracting company and we worked out of Big Valley, back in the 80's. We painted the blue Catholic church on the hill a couple of times (as you can see, they keep it up). Interestingly, we painted the Presbyterian church, in town too. My sister is the daredevil that reached the top of both buildings!! A tidbit for you, we had to restore the interior of that church (tons of really nice woodwork) because the pastor's daughter lit it on fire. The heat destroyed the terrible stain/varnish that was used, at some point. We did it right when we restored it :)

Great video! The train turntable was really cool! Man I really need to get a drone. You guys have much nicer ghost towns compared to what we have in Ontario.

I do enjoy these excursions and clips...I know rural Alberta very well having began my Film Career as a location scout and manager. The drone work helps a lot to give a perspective on things...but the I have to say the music is so bad and so just wrong for the material that I have to turn the sound off to watch. You might want to have a bit more thought into the music tracks IMO.

Hey, thanks for watching! Ghost towns are super creepy, but also a lot of fun. We always make sure we smudge the vehicle before heading home :P Not sure if it works, but it makes the Rogue smell nice.

Awesome video I live In Innisfail and have been to all the towns you visited over the years BUT what a great way to see the real size and scope of operations on the Round House at Big Valley and the Overview of Rowlywood is so much better from the air . Was an extra in the film Magic of Ordinary days which was shot at Rowley in 2007 I believe The Main vehicle in the movie was a 37 Ford 1 1/2 Ton which My father and I restored and the movie company bought it from him Watch the show on KZitem or wherever you can find it It was a Hallmark movie Production So again Thanks for the Video and the aerial footage

Like your video, nice to see somebody else with an interest in abandoned and semi-abandoned railway settlements. I was crazy enough during the summer of 2017 to venture down Special Areas gravel grid roads to see Spondin and Garden Plain, even saw Garden Plain used as a control city on a highway sign on Highway 36 south of Highway 12.

Ive not been into it. The story goes that the church was in need of a coat of paint but there was no money to buy paint. I think a hardware store donated some . The colour they gave was blue. I dont think anyone was buying blue paint !
