EI01 WATERCOLOUR ON HOTPLATE.
This Exploring Ideas clip examines the basis for using a hotplate as an under-heating device for various papers and cards. The wax melts on the substrate and can be worked in many ways. Here, a water-colour paper is used. This is absorbent, and so the wax impregnates the fabric of the paper. dark colours cannot be removed! It's less than 5 minutes to learn this basis.
