Ersin Güven Europeans actually know Turkish people. There are many immigrant Turks all over Europe. These immigrants didn’t make a good impression as they usually are the least educated and least open minded people in the country they live. But those Turks went to these European countries as cheap labor and they weren’t the most educated ones when living in Turkey before the immigration. Turkey itself has more to offer.

What a beautiful place to be stuck during this madness. I'm sad cos it's affecting the Turkish people's livelihoods due to lack of tourists but happy that you are able to explore in such peaceful areas. I went to Dalyan which was amazing from the delta to the turtle beach and I highly recommend it to visit if you can The Turkish people are amazing and I will never forget there hospitality. So true, I thought that Turkey is not safe for travellers, but you broke that myth, good and well!! You two are SO positive. We can all learn from you two: if it's positive, shout it; if it's negative shut it!

You two should be an inspiration to many. I mean that. I personally know people who always complain about having "nicer things" here in the USA. More, more, and more. Never enough. They go on vacation for a couple of weeks a year to create memories, yet they have the means to make abundant memories and yet choose to live based on the false premise of materialism. Every day is an adventure for you two. I hope people start to realize in these times that there is more to life than what you own. Thanks again for your videos. I don't live under the false pretense that every day of your journeys is "perfect" - but I would imagine that the good outnumber the bad (by a wide margin).

Hi Ari - thank you for your thoughtful and kind message. We are super lucky that we have worked out our happy place. It is not everyones dream, but we do hope that others find their happy place too and by sharing we can inspire others to think about their situation. We sometimes get messages about how excited we get about seeing a tree or water .... LOL 😂😂 and that makes us even more happy to know that we really have found our happy place!! We are grateful for ALL the beauty and friendship that we find on this adventure, and we are happy that you are on it with us ... Kind regards Marianne 🌿🤗🌺

I have lived in Turkey (Antalya) for twenty years and have explored this amazing country all over. It always makes me sad that some tourist come here, stay in their hotels and never leave them. There is just so much to see here and so many chances to find the real Turkey. An example of how widespread the beauty is here, yesterday me and my brother in law, who is Turkish found a lake, just twenty minutes from my home. I had lived here for years without even knowing it was there. 😊

As a Turkish citizen, I was planning to go to Kapadokya, but hiking in the Ihlara valley has just attracted me too much. Keep being positive, and spread love and hope to the humanity.. if you have a plan to visit around Burdur, I would be happy to take you to Salda lake which I was there yesterday. It is great, called as Turkish Maldives. I would be happy to show you guys around Sagalassos, the Ancient Greek city which has the highest altitude ancient theatre in the world. Hello to you both from sunny Suffolk. I am loving watching all your travels and am especially loving Turkey which has a very special place in my heart as been travelling there for 25+ years. Lived in Kalkan in the late 90s for two summers with no air con or fans in the apartment. Got told to put clothes in the fridge and it worked. Cool shower at night and drape sarong from fridge over us and stayed cool enough to be able to drop off to sleep. Am working my way through your previous videos and countries too and thoroughly enjoying them. Its fabulous to look at wonderful places i've visited as well as new ones i'm putting on my to do list. Can't wait till your next installment and thanks for always making me smile when I get a notification of another video. Watching this one between my last two night shifts as can't wait till rest days 😁. You guys are just great.

You reminded me of Ihlara Valley, if I remember it right, there is a spot, kind of a rock hill they called Star Wars valley? I remember too we hike up a hill with a nice rock-cut church, I don't remember the place but it's somewhere Ihlara, and we ate at this restaurant along the river, it was winter so there're snow around the area. I like that Marian is driving, take care to both of you. PS: watching it now in full, yes that frescoes at 12:30 is the rock-cut church, there was no wooden stairs back then, they have done facilities for visitors convenience, I remember it clearly now that we climbed a hill to get to that church, no stairs, just rough earth and rocks.

I do not agree with it. I saw so many historical stuff in turkey, from the Aegean sea till Antalya(Mediterranean sea), all like free open-air museums without a guard and no paintings. All this historical stuff in other counties would look like under a bridge in London or New York.
@m.dawoodtopala9293

@@calvinoverdi2624 Yet it's a far too clear fact that turkey has a long standing history and quite enough artifacts and historical records and objects. With regards to paintings; painting, sketching or whatever form of art that creates/depicts the form of life for eg. portraits, statues, drawing of creatures or human beings or any such things are all forbidden in islam, and so u won't find much of that in turkey nevertheless, the middle Eastern arts and architecture and painting are really magnificent. With respect to open museams, well it's there choice to be less secure if they feel short of threat. And I don't understand how could u compare New York or America with Turkey. It is such a newly found place discovered officially by the Europeans some 500 years ago before which was inhabited by backward civilization of what they called red Indians or say Native Americans which to my knowledge had hardly been doing things that would be counted as significant history or any great thing to be regarded as some worth, and who later were ripped off, buthered,. exploited and enslaved in their own lands by the newly emerging modern seafarers from where the historical records are probably mojarorly preserved. The place is considered new, considering its developments and proper establishment from Columbian era, yet a land seperated by the mainland of afro Eurasia where the signicant development and settlement and noteworthy events had been prevalent far since ages. NYC might be having museums well protected and artifacts from around the world but it doesn't has any significant history of its own of pre-Columbian era, and the post Columbian America is far too new. Besides, museums are not considered for a place to considered old or historical. It's architecture, culture, records of major events, even cusine and perhaps the entirety of the place in effect, all these count for a city or a place to be historical. You might have good museums in America but what about all the remaining factors mentioned, the segregated new land hardly has it. And in Turkey u actually get to feel history and culture quite ingrained in its entirety. America just has big skyscrapers and some perhaps medievel European blending of architecture(European architecture is beautiful nonetheless) far to less in proportion. It's only money and liberalism in America and not a cultural place. The architecture of Arab middle East and Europe are magnificent and all these places including North Africa and Central Asia are worth visiting and have quite a lot to offer. In case of London or England well they have their history, yet theres no competition with turkey, both have their own cultural and historical landmarks with turkey being more modest while the west had been shameless, anyways worth visiting and experiening the beauty of Europe and it's old history and culture.

@@m.dawoodtopala9293 What? we talking about paintings like graffiti. Not about History in these cities.... You can`t compare the graffiti culture in New York and London with that in Turkey generally...
