In 1955 my family visited Kamakura for a day as we lived in Tokyo. Fond memories of the trip and tons of family photos

What a beautiful small town to visit I’m sure you cherish those photographs! We actually found it interesting enough that we will visit once again and eat even more than we had an opportunity to this time. Such a tranquil escape from the bustling city of Tokyo thank you so much for this heartfelt comment.
Kamakura looks like so much fun! Great video of Kamakura! The last meal looks delicious, and the local beer looked tasty

"We know how to say 'I'm freaking sorry'" - I just laughed so hard! I'm so glad you both enjoyed every minute of Kamakura. I have never been there, but going there would be one of the bucket list for sure :) Can't wait for the next video!!!!!

Thanks so much! This was our favorite day trip from Tokyo that we took! And since we are always making mistakes it’s good to apologize 😂. Thanks a million for watching our journey!

Looks like you both had a lot of fun! I’ve never been to Kamakura before. Funny how you say it’s February when I’m currently viewing this in July. It’s extremely hot and humid in Japan now. I wish it was still February.

😂🫠 We travel in the winter and work in the summer to afford our trips. Plus it’s so much cheaper to go places off-season. We ended up making way more Japan videos than we planned because everything was so amazing. We love Kamakura!

@@HeresGoodTravel Glad you enjoyed! If you come to Japan again in the future, you can try come in summer and die. Haha. It’s been in the 90s here in Osaka, but the heat index has been in the 100s. The moment you step outside, your entire body just starts to melt. The good things about summer are all of the summer festivals and the opportunities to wear yukata to a festival and watch fireworks.
