Mott Haven is a great neighborhood. I can see why it’s being gentrified. I really enjoyed South Mott Haven the most. Thanks for sharing Manny!

Power to you for showing areas of nyc that not many walk, you are honest showing the good and the bad of all areas which you will find in all parts of the world. Thank you for not exploiting those who are presently lost to the world through addiction, most suffer from deep mental illness that local, county, state, and federal officials have abandoned for many decades. They are still human beings. Always be careful not only in the BX but anywhere you walk, Manny truly explores the

The Bronx should have kept more of those type of old row houses in various neighborhoods. That architecture can't be duplicated in modern times.

Young man, you did a great job. I grew up on Prospect and 152nd Street. What I saw was such a far cry from what I knew growing up! Thanks for your review.

Hey Manny…another great video. Thanks for highlighting the street art. Your video shows Mott Haven is a great NY community with a lot of history. The contrast between the old and the new is striking. Hopefully the neighborhood preserves its historic feel despite the changes.

it's a little more up and coming than most people realize -myself included. you are doing a good job to show that the city of NY does make an effort to keep up all neighborhoods and boroughs. the city has a tradition of trying to do that when the money is available. I know a little about all that because i had no less than 4 family members who were social workers all over the city when i was living there. glad to see that developers see the potential of building in different sections in the Bronx and Brooklyn. being older than you are, i was also there when the Bronx was on the way down or being burned down . i had an aunt and a friend in different areas of the Bronx who were the very last person to move out of their bldgs. they were just that attached to their places. i had a number of other relatives and friends who also lived up that way. gentrifying as well as changes are not all bad especially considering the fact that a whole lot of the original Puerto Ricans, Blacks and others have moved away to places like Orlan6do because things had gotten so bad.. while street art may show jenny from the block, jenny does not live on the block anymore. life is change and improvement. actually i would like to add that back in the day there was a delay or pause in redeveloping the Bronx because i know folks who moved into those white towers over those railroad tracks in your video called Concourse Village back when they were finished. even back then, there were master plans to build on platforms over the those same tracks all the way up to 163rd where Concourse Village is located.

From Connecticut I go to nyc explore alone. Go to Harlem a lot 125 one time I wanted to go to the Bronx so I took a Uber to Alexander Avenue by the police station Mont Haven South Bronx walked around got some weed that was horrible, but I explore alone. Connecticut is minutes away from the Bronx.

I miss The Bronx. It's changed a lot in The Mott Haven area. By the way. It's Bruckner Blvd, not Bruckner Ave. Bruckner Ave is on Shaolin aka Staten Island

Yeah it is ramping up in Mott Haven and also soon Melrose. But in reality the neighborhood was too poor and too neglected in the past few decades. Balance is good. The area needed income diversity.

Hopefully the NYPD is cracking down on panhandling in this part of the Bronx! People do not expect to be harassed by strangers for money.
