Quantum physics has striking similarities with the ancient Indian philosophy of Vedanta. Both offer a non-dualistic understanding of reality, recognizing the interconnectedness of all things and the ultimate oneness. Both also propose that consciousness plays a fundamental role in shaping reality, with quantum physics suggesting that observation collapses wave-functions, and Vedanta positing consciousness as the ultimate reality.
This topic has always intrigued me and set me on a quest for learning more about the intersection of Science, God and especially how there is a purpose and intelligence behind the creation of this Universe.
Recently I had the opportunity to deliver an online lecture for Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation (SVBF), Canada as part of their knowledge lecture series called Jnana Sudha. The topic was Science and God. My talk touched upon how contemporary scientific findings are seen to be aligning largely with spiritual beliefs and philosophies, with reference to Quantum physics and Vedanta. Intertwining my love for physics, science and Vedanta, this talk is a condensed presentation of ideas shared in my videos on my KZitem channel - Temples, Books and Science
Here is the one hour recording of the talk in case you had missed it earlier.
