The Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, California and its Manager of Artifacts and Exhibitions, Jonathan Piper, provides a behind the scenes look at a remarkable artifact, a 1944 Steinway Victory Vertical or as it was more affectionately known, the G.I. Steinway.
