Adam you inspired me some time ago to purchase a large format printer with which to start printing my images myself. And it was one of the best decisions i have ever made, the joy of seeing my images in large print knows no bounds. Thank you again for reinforcing the mantra that your images are best seen in print. Oh and by the way, what a fantastic pano, as always great work.

Amazing to see you and Verity out and about in Brum. Verity is an amazing ambassador for Birmingham and being local her workshops are ace as she's also an amazing teacher. It'd be great to showcase more of Brum and the West Midlands. Thanks for showing a bit of Brum love. Amazing images from both of you!

As a prior film photographer, starting in the mid 80s as a teenager, I was never accepting of digital cameras. I gave up on film around 2005, and just used digital point and shoot cameras. When smart phones came out, I got rid of my point and shoot cameras. The pictures were ok, but nothing really motivated me in a photographical sense. We hired a "digital" photographer for our wedding, and had our pictures printed. I was completely impressed! Once printed the pictures LOOKED like photographs! Just like the film days! I got inspired!! So 3 years ago, I bought a used 5D MKII, a 70-200 2.8, and 50mm 1.8. I have been taking pictures and my passion for photography has been reignited once again! Printing my digital images gives me so much satisfaction! I have even told many people that, "A picture (digital) is NOT a photograph, until it is printed!" I thoroughly enjoy your passion for printing your pictures, as I have the same emotions as well! Cheers mate!

Great inspirational video Adam. The 3mr plus print is amazing and bigger than fist an outstretched. I rarely comment on videos, but I'm amazed at just how much negativity can be in some comments. Not just your channel but the few other channels I looked at today. Keep up the great content.

It's a fabulous panorama Adam, I know that mountain so well too. I love to see my own stuff printed "big" but this one is gargantuan, I would need to buy a new house to get a wall long enough. 🤣 Great stuff, and seriously, wonderful seeing all those great images printed "big". ❤❤❤

A few questions for you: 1. What is the minimum viewing distance for that big monster print? 2. What was the cost of ink and paper? 3. What are you going to do regarding framing? A fun video and would like to see more like it.

Really enjoyed this one Adam. Certainly gets you keen to print large. Will seriously have to look at getting a roll printer. A follow up video this time a hands on experience in detail of using the 2600 or 4600 would be great. I'm sure that the good people at the Canon Showroom would support it.

I have a previous gen IPF 6400 with 24 inches. It can produce great prints (12 inks). I believe the newest 2000 and 4000 series can be a little better, in printheads, and paper management.

Very good video Adam! For professionals wanting to sell ultra large/wide prints of their creative work including very big panoramas, the ~$5000-$5100 price tag for this printer is a bargain compared to sending many images to a lab. And that includes the ink and paper requirements. The only other investment is tools, materials, and skill to frame and mount the prints. Why spend thousands on your favorite camera and associated gear and then go cheap with the final result, the print?

I was wondering not only where would you hang it, but how would it be framed/mounted. Was fantastic to see your work and Verity's work coming off the big printer and was really surprised at the cost of your print, I envisioned it would have been more expensive

I have been trying to print my work from ether my camera or my phone and I have gotten good prints from both. The only printer I have is the HP officejet 4655. It was the only thing I could afford but the prints are good, to me.

Hello Adam, did you try to create big image from your A2+ Canon ProGraph 1000 ? Can you create A0+ simply by printing A2+ photos with margin marks and try to assembly it! It could be very interesting process to do that. What do you thinks about ? It can be one of your next video!
@elnitram4313
25 күн бұрын
Might be worth considering the pro2600 instead of the 1100. You can make 30m prints and the ink is cheaper. And it's not as expensive as the 4600 or 6600.

Looks amazing. Surreal to see your own photos printed, especially when they are so astoundingly high quality. They should use your photo, which is astoundingly beautiful, to promote themselves. Lovely example. How're you going to mount it? (must check if London's printspace has similar printerwise - but will check out the Birmingham site too)
