@@outdoorscholar6016 Not at all bro 😂 we have an old habit after 2003 any famous foreign person come to Iraq or pss through a check point police would send with him some soldiers to protect him and to make sure that he wouldn't do a stupid think, you can see a lot of videos of Babylon at KZitem, a lot of foreigners visit this place anyway I born in Babylon andl ive inside it there was only one explosion after 2003 happened maybe at 2010 or 2009 and now all Iraq is safe place!

Touch up on your history bro. Babylon is not the "first city". Many would argue it's actually Jericho - which was definitely founded before Babylon. I couldn't say it's the first city- though it makes the strongest case

Babylon was not the first city. Several Sumerian cities are older. It was founded around 1900BC. Ur and Uruk were a thousand years earlier. Also if you count Jericho (only had around 20,000 people) the first city was around 10,000BC

I'm from Iraq and i'm telling u no one really cares about these things like we literally have ALOT of other important places that needs to be taken care of so that tourists visit them but no , the government is just so bad here and only cares about themselves , they're also so stupid to let these things be abandoned because we could earn so much money from ppl visiting :) ,i blame it on the people too, alot of trash everywhere and many of them just scribble on the walls and ruin it :)

The earliest known city is Çatalhöyük, a settlement of some 10,000 people in southern Anatolia that existed from approximately 7400 BCE to 5200 BCE. Hunting, agriculture and animal domestication all played a role in the society of Çatalhöyük. That was actually the first City stop spreading misinformation

There is no war in Iraq. The Iraq war was 2003. And ended like a year. There was few issues with isis in mid 2010's but that's it. I dont know why people think Iraq is in war.

Well, there were at least 10 cities in Iraq before Babylon was built, Uruk and Eredu were the first cities in the world built before Babylon in over 4000 bc also Akkad was built in over 2800 bc not to mention Ur , Lagaish , Urma etc.

Ok, one correction but the mesopotamian civilization is not the worlds first civilization and Babylon is not the first city. The indus valley civilization and their cities are far older dating back to 8000 bc and sadly they are now situated in pakistan. I think you should visit them if possible.
