Usyk has fought far better opposition than Fury, even at cruiserweight. He has beaten every champion away from home. Undisputed at cruiserweight and heavyweight and he’s never been dropped or given a count. People should talk about that. Fury’s boring win over Klitschko ten years ago and his wins over a one handed fighter with a ridiculous padded record are so overrated it’s insane. His resume is awful when compared to the legends of the past. Ali was the same size as Usyk and he would have boxed rings around Fury in his prime. To say that he would beat every heavyweight in history is next level glazing.

It’s mad to think that Fury took the reign off Ukrainian Klitschko, a heavyweight who was bad for the sport with his fouls, contracts etc. Fury defeated Klitschko in a one sided fight! He not only became world champion but he was now the peoples champion. On his return to sport, Fury and Wilder went on to slander Anthony Joshua name in an attempt to bill themselves as the top two of the division. This was great promotion for the pair, but neither fighters had a proven track record to back these claims up. Fury conquered Deontay Wilder in a trilogy to become the WBC champion. Following this he become a protected champion who was inactive, taking on tailor made opponents. He was not looking to prove himself but self proclaimed himself as “the greatest of all time.” Was this reality? No. Fury best opponents at this point were Klitschko, Wilder, Whyte and Chisora. Fury became the thing he once conquered, a champion who’s bad for the sport. It’s now come back full circle with a Ukrainian by name of Oleksandr Usyk. Someone who took the hard route to become two time undisputed champion, the man who rid the sport of a champion whose bad for the sport. Wouldn’t it be poetic justice if Usyk retired now and didn’t honour his rematch?

Fury was only in control in the 4th, 5th and 6th and those punches he was getting peppered with in 1, 2, 3, , 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 were definitely hurting. How little actual skill and ability has Fury demonstrated that people could only say "he's taller longer and heavier" as his ways to win? People who are meant to know boxing seemed to believe he could turn up being the size he is and that would give him the win. People in and around boxing (including boxers, ex-boxers, trainers, analysts, journalists) and the people who follow/watch them on tv/radio/socials haven't got a clue about boxing. It was mathematically impossible for it to be a draw but the amount of them at the end of the fight saying "I've got it a draw" or "it's got to be a draw" and the people agreeing with them is just crazy. Check out the watchalongs and streams, people who are paid to know boxing clearly don't know boxing and the people in the chat don't know anything either... A draw? 12 rounds with a knockdown a draw? It's called propaganda, if you tell a lie often enough and for long enough it becomes the truth for some people. Then it comes a time when continuing ducking and cherry picking becomes next to impossible, that's when reality comes crushing in like a punch in the mouth.

Fury can't get in shape anymore. His physical condition is worse than 45 year old George Foreman, his legs have gone, watch his feet. maybe he needs to fo some glute and hip flexor training as he has the legs of an old lady. He got away with it while young but now his lack of physical condition tells.

This is why I never listen to the so called ‘experts’ I make up my own mind and stick to it. Never ever listen to family members of any fighter, they are biased and talk CRAP!!!!! 😡

Or their promoters, they are just doing business and will never say anything bad of their fighter. Frank Warren and Bob Arum "good close fight, I believe Fury won that" lol

Kevin Barry! Haha. My assessment watching the fight live was that Usyk won the first 3 rounds convincingly. I gave 4 - 7 to Fury but after watching post-fight analysis it actually turns out out that Usyk out-landed Fury in round 4 also. Being generous, the most I could really give Fury was rounds 5, 6, 7 and 12. It's quite incredible how biased so much of the UK boxing establishment are. Ever the live coverage was very much Fury biased. Surely people would have realised after beating Joshua convincingly TWICE that Usyk is the real deal. His boxing fundamental are just far and above anyone else in the division. I'd LOVE to see Usyk and Bivol meet at Cruiserweight - Bivol has great boxing fundamentals and I think he would represent a really good challenge for Usyk and vice-versa.

It's the same thing with (here we go yet again) MIKE TYSON. A folk hero to millions who according ro some could knock out any fighter in history in 1 round if Cus D'amato was still alive, hadn't fired Rooney, got ruined by Don King etc, etc, etc until entropy consumes the universe.
