MD doctors aren't genius', really naïve to think that med school students are 130+ IQ, genius' don't need school. Average or above average people learn and practice theories. Genius' make the theories that graduate schools teach. Einstein didn't have any degrees, hes got honorary degrees. Discovering fundamental laws illustrates you have a deep understanding of the subject, you dont need to sit around learning about it.

MD schooling is mainly memorization. MDs appropriated the term doctor in an attempt to legitimize themselves. In Germany, medical professionals aren’t allowed to call themselves doctors because their schooling is easier than that of a PhD, and it doesn’t involve novel discovery. An MD’s job is to apply things other people, namely researchers, have discovered. I’m not saying this is easy or anything. They need to be precise enough to make very few errors. However, doing research in the medical field is certainly a more difficult job. Unfortunately, a significant amount of them are convinced they are the “real doctors.”

Colin Antink it's dumb because cars and products are built so that they'll break AFTER an extended warranty. The dealerships' or stores' salesmen lie to customers by saying the car or product could break a few years after the factory's warranty is up, so they should get extended warranty just to be safe... And then the car or product will eventually break down after the extended warranty is over and the dealership or store will have won everything and the customer will have lost everything.
@officebear4637
6 жыл бұрын
Angel O that's not it... Extended warranty is what the name implies: warranty over a longer period of time that apparently covers more things than the manufacturer. But like I said, most items and cars are built to break AFTER these types of warranties are over. So then everyone other than the customer benefits on the sale.

I actually wish they would have kept Homer smart, he's much more bearable.

They should have kept the crayon plot a kind of Deus ex machina device from time to time. Like say Homer needs to save Springfield, he gets the crayon removed to make himself smart again.

No, that was a extremely bad episode. What's the moral lesson here? Being stupid is good? Being stupid makes you happy? Hold back your true strength just to blend in with idiots, rather than hang out with other intelligent people? What a terrible advice. Would you give that advise to your children? I know a lot of smart persons who are happy and stupid persons who are very unhappy. So it isn't even true. And also it absolutely ruins Homers character. It was always funny to see Homer trying to be smart and fail miserably. Homer being stupid on purpose isn't funny at all. That episode is a good example why modern Simpsons suck. It all went downhill after season 10.
