How ironic to briefly forget the name of the card Memory Lapse.

Shahrazad is such a fun card and beautiful as well. In my experience, it can work really well in white aggro builds. 💪

Watching Richard Garfield videos it seems like he considers himself more a game-designer than the creator of Magic. I'm sure he's proud of his creation taking flight but he seems moved on from it in a lot of aspects, like Magic The Gathering was just one of his creations yet it became famous and his others not so much.

My questions for Richard from the beginning of Mtg:- 1) Would you rather have a 'put x on the bottom of your library, draw x,' mulligan than the one you settled on? X doesn't ahve to be seven, it could be just 2 on the play 3 on the draw for example. Shuffle mulligans take so much time. 2) Would you have made legendaries a '1 per deck' type of card, like in other ccgs? 3) Would you have redesigned the cards do the mana was on the top left, not top right?

Good evening , I wonder If u can answer couple of questions ? 1. How easy is it to get a game manufactured as I have a few ideas for board games? 2.Is the cliche board game method of shaking a dice and moving on squares the best way to go forward or should I invent different system , for example with a teetotum and 3d board like a pyramid with magnetic pieces a good thinking? 3. The world has gone computer game crazy-Am I the only one who still enjoys the board games? and 4. With a view to sustainability and longevity what about plastic or glass that last longer , is this green thinking or would this not be cost-effective? Thank u so much for your time and trouble I would love to see your response to my questions. Kind regards KERIM

Lesson learned here, you could cast Berserk as an instant during the early days of Magic, even during combat.

he does not. he left the company many years ago. i believe he is still designing games though. he hasnt been on a design team for a very long time though. he did stay with wotc for longer than he stayed to design magic, and wotc made a few of his board games.

im not entirely sure thats true. Richard has been credited on multiple sets he didnt work on because they used a mechanic he designed in the past so he got credit for things made when he wasnt on the team

Dan Lewis "When you get mana screwed for the third time do you also sling your cards onto the table and flip the fingers of your mind through your mental rolodex of expletives and announce 'This game is rigged!'?" "If I ask you nicely will you karate chop Maro until he prints more Ninjas and will you please further Karate Chop all those responsible for: Uro, Tiran of Nature's Wrath Teferi, Time Raveler Oko, Thief of Crowns Omnath, Locus of Creation?" "Final question. Control players are perceived as adversarial. Yet the mechanical interaction strongly evokes martial arts. In physical competition the thinking man is revered and respected but in intellectual competition the truly accomplished thinker is a villain. Where you aware of the dichotomy, was it a representation of any philosophy and do you believe it refects society itself?"
