Every year I cycle through different CRP plots I have and for the last 10 years now I have been using a bobcat with tracks skid steer last year it was a T76 and the mower I use is a 7 ft Diamond, it doesnt really make a lot of difference which skid steer you use as long as you have enough HP to supply the hydraulic oil in a high enough volume to the cutter. My brush is generally around 8 ft tall and anywhere from 3/4" to 2.5" in diameter and that diamond cutter is the one I will always use, I have never found anything close!

Now make sure you don't drive 4-wheelers & side X sides through there for at least 8-10 yrs because of the spears sticking up out the ground now. # yrs ago my granddaughter forgot about my cuts, & I had 6 flat tires on my wheelers that summer before I figured out what the deal was, LOL.I kind of forgot too.

So now I cater to folks with more money and not deal with the broke asses that try to gyp me.. but yes a 3pt mower is easier to go through gates and transport. hello, how do you prevent it from growing back again
@randalpryor9444
4 ай бұрын
Just let it grow back for about 4 to 5 weeks, I like everything to get at least 12” tall then I’ll run to the coop and grab some 24d Esther and some msm60 and mix me up a dose and make sure that I spray it really good and the way I spray is I make the first lap from one end to the other and then on my next lap I’ll hang about 20 feet away + or- and I make sure that I nearly cover everything over to my tire track that is next to where I’m making my pass this way and how I see things once you go threw one way you’re getting the top and the side of the weeds the way you’re traveling and when you turn around to make the next swipe your getting the top again plus the other side of the weeds ect, this will get you a good kill, I run a 200 gallon barrel and I put 5 quarts of the 24d ester and 5 ounces of the msm60 which is tiny pellets and of course the 24d is liquid and I always add a quart of liquid washing detergent as well this will make it grab and stick on everything it touches. Now if you aren’t into the spraying process you can keep it cut down a couple to three times a year cause some people don’t like the spraying process but as of me there’s no better way to solve this problem, hope everything works out great for you,thanks Randal Pryor….
