People like to shit on the 11900k but mine is an overclocking machine! Literally just using my 360mm Corsair Elite Capellix and ROG Maximus XIII Hero at the stock bio settings was already getting the 11900k at a 5.5ghz boost. Literally all I had to do was lower voltage, turn on xmp, tighten ram timings, and I was pretty much set. I’m gonna push oc on everything more after I upgrade my PSU. But if the simple AI OC can do all that I can definitely get some high all core clocks.

i fucking love your content i can't believe i didn't know there was a competent enthusiast hardware channel focused on wow performance. WoW perf has been my thing forever I just had no idea anyone else did to this extent.

Have been trying to tell people the same about IPC improvements going Zen2->Zen3. Really cool to see it demonstrated here that frequency isn’t everything 👍

Amazing OC, as always! But are you still enjoying Shadowlands?

Well, I have to say that I enjoyed more BFA in the end game, but Shadowlands isn't bad, maybe a bit too long to farm everything

Well, THIS is actually hard core overclocking, property done! Wait, do you have two phase changer ?? Do you know what this calls for, don't you?? So, bring the future, now! Let's see what, a full overclocked rig, can do!! Ps: hint; you should do, at least a fast run, showing the mounting procedure. It's tedious, but KZitem is all about detailed content, food for the content consumers!

I have two yes hehe and an interesting project incoming about that, I'm waiting for the components to build what it will be the fastest Pc in the world, one chassis, CPU and GPU cooled by evaporators at -40C... stay tuned ;)

Here you can see something about that unit: kzitem.info/news/bejne/uWyIuXmLapZemm0 later I will publish another video about the 10900K 11900k and the 5950X with the cascade at -95°C, maybe next week I can do a detailed video about it, how it works and how to use it

I think you're hitting Nvidia's driver overhead. Have you tested that game with a RX 6900 XT + SAM on a Ryzen platform?

I will try with the liquid 6800XT OC next week to make sure of that 👍

How did you get the i9 10900k clocked to 5.9 GHZ? All cores no less. It's not clocked at 6 GHZ though.

im gettiing 6 ghz on a 240mm aio rog ryo on cod 2 dmz, and on warzone I get 5.9ghz, its really strange cpu, because the 5th core, 4th core in bios runs hot and in cod 2 dmz the first 3 cores run hot and the 1st core, core 0 runs at 6ghz, z590 a with trident neo cl18 3600mhz, overclock 1.400v with avx offset of 2. strange but great, the temps go back down when idle

For this test is actually the best, I tried also 4600 C17 and 4800 C18 but still the 4000 C14 is giving a bit better result, with this really high fps latency seems a priority over bandwidth, I might try 4800 C14 if I can find a decent maxmem setting and Windows don't crash :D

If you have a really good kit of bdie should be able to do 4600c16 really tight on 10900k at least on apex. I have a bunch of single rank kits that do that daily stable no maxmem. I daily 4700-16-17-17-34-280-2t on dual rank tuned rtl/IOL and all subs terts on the floor for max performance. But I have a really good IMC and chip in general. The cache frequency is probably killing benchmark as well for 10900k that’s really low. Dual rank memory has slightly higher latency about .5ns on equivalent timings from single rank but the bandwidth is nuts.

@turboshoturassmerica7269 What is your ram io sa voltage? Mine can only do 4600 16-16-16-36 on 2x16gb tridentz 3600 cl16. Ram needs 1.61v while io and sa needs 1.39v in bios (1.40-1.42 actual) on xii apex. This is my daily running that easily passes tm5 absolut. 4666 with the same timings is partially stable. I was able to pass gsat for only one time during 2 years.
