Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzitem.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

Very nice..Kinda would have kept it as is...just gave it a new paint job and put new handle fixtures on it..At some time later you may want to use it again as a dresser drawer. Plus I like the drawer spaces for extra storage.. CD's/ DVDS..Books..Remote Control Drawer..Video Games.. If your planning to put a Flatscreen TV over it on top and a DVD/ Playstation player underneath..That extra Drawer space is good to have

The distressing fad is over. I like the clean piece.
@BrickHouseVintageDIY
2 жыл бұрын
Respectfully... the distressing fad is most definitely not over. We're selling pieces faster than we can keep up with replenishing them. Though the farmhouse trend as a whole is greatly diminishing (although, in our area it's still popular), even when it fully fades distressed furniture has a secure place in many of the newer trends such as cottagecore, grandmillenial, and grannychic. In fact, distressed furniture has had a very large presence in many trends of the last several decades... in the 90s it was present in both the "country" look and primitive style, in the early 2000s it was shabby chic, and in the 2010s it was farmhouse. Although, distressing isn't everyone's taste (I completely understand that), it's still wildly popular. As one trend rolls over into others distressing always finds it's place.

Cigarette tar leaves a stinky residue that traps dust and dirt. It ends up with that grimy, sticky, stinky mess. I’ve found beautiful furniture that smells of a heavy smoker or moth balls and passed on the furniture. I’m glad you were able to make it work.

This is gorgeous🤩. Am surprised to see a shabby chic look as that seems to be 'out' right now with all the DIYers on youtube, but is one of my favourite looks for older furniture. I absolutely love the colour you used on the top, though I would have used cream over white which I personally find a bit too stark. I hope you get many years of use (and abuse!) out of it after all your hard work. TFS :)

Really nice finish. I wish I could see what it would've looked like if you had used the stain on the middle shelves too. Or at least if you stained the boards before you painted them so the distressing would match. But I still love it!
