Just remember all of these quirky collections in these houses go with the owners when they sell and move. They’re not going to leave their collections behind. Whether it be clowns or mannequins, if someone’s taken years to collect something, they’re not gonna leave it with the house. And you’re exactly right about the one with the jail cells, refurbish them, and turn them into some kind of a B&B. People will pay top dollar to stay in old jail cells!

About 30 years ago a friend of mine bought a seemingly normal home. Just after closing, it was discovered that the son of the previous owners had committed suicide by gunshot in the basement (it's why they were selling). When my friend's parents found out, they were VERY upset, urged him to consult a lawyer about undoing the sale. He says- "No way! It's a GREAT price in a great area!" Later I helped him with removing some partition walls in the basement, only to discover a layer of what looked like freeze-dried instant coffee crystals under the 2x4 walls. Hint- Was NOT coffee! A little mopping, good as new.

A relative decades ago bought a house and to find out a 8 year old died in the bathtub... I used that washroom and I felt strange in there and was drawn to the tub..I told my Dad and he said dont use it again!! My cousins and sister went in there and it was a strange feeling, they all felt it...We were never told the story until we were 15 plus years old...I am not one to believe in the afterlife, but I really dont know after that odd feeling in that house..

My friend (& his girlfriend) would often feel a slight chilly breeze when they were at the top of the basement steps, despite the house being sealed tight. His take on it? "It's a cool bit of AIR!! So what!!" Not exactly "Poltergeist"!@@mypronouniswtf5559

I bought a house in a little town in Iowa, about 40 min from Omaha. I lived there for four years, and "funny" things would be happening like strange noises and bangs. Keys and other things going missing. One day I was at the little store and when these two women found out which house I lived in, they looked at each other. The cashier who I was friends with told me that the old guys wife had died, and two years later he had died at home. That didn't bother me, as my dad also had died at home. But what the realtor DIDN'T tell me was that the man committed suicide!! I was pissed! By that time I had already lived in the house three years. I called the Iowa Board of Realtors, because the realtor who sold me the house never told me about the suicide, and they're attitude was like "So?"" I stayed another year and then moved. I was under the impression that that was supposed to be disclosed while looking at the house? The town is really really small about three hundred people and I found out that there had been at least nine suicides over the years........glad I left! lol 😊

It actually amazing that some of those houses sold!!! Especially the one in Devon, must of cost hundreds of thousands to fix that up!!!

When we became "empty nesters" and decided to sell our 4 bedroom/3 bath, 3800 sq ft home, the realtor refused to list the house until I moved all the furniture out except the master bedroom and minor kitchen utensils... We were having an 800 sq ft cabin built on new our property so we put 90% of it in the front yard with "FREE" signs... We didn't have to move it or store it! 😂😂😂

There is an actual replica of the Meyers home from Halloween in North Carolina. I met the owners at a horror convention. The interior design is modern but the exterior is a replica of the house in the movie (like the beginning when the home is taken care of). They've even made a little fan film and screen Halloween outside during Halloween.

@ashleyspitzer6672 - The houses are really interesting, as are the little bits of historical information he throws in. Instead of "clickbait", a nicer way to put it is that you'd like more accurate titles for the videos.

Your title suggests people wouldn't buy these homes, but it appears that all of them did sell. As for the interior decor, that's what the previous owner liked, you won't get to keep any of the collections or furniture, and you can repaint. (seems like a bit of click bait, to me).
