Hello Mark! I just stumbled upon your channel, great stuff! I may try my hand at carving to fill the time, since everyone is staying home and "social distancing" themselves lately lol!

Do u ever make your own bird legs? I recently carved a crow & cannot find feet for it especially for in flight position

That is a great question. A lot of people in the competition world especially the more experienced carvers all make their own legs and feet. There are a few KZitem videos out there on how to make them. This is a video I plan on making soon. By the way when you said you’re carving a crow I got excited. I love crows and ravens.

hi. where do you buy the supplies for the eyes and feet?

Thanks for your question. Most wood carving supply companies sell decoy eyes and cast pewter feet. Sugar pine wood carving supplies is where I get most of my stuff from. You can also buy eyes from taxidermy supply catalogs
