You notice they cant stop smiling talking about a piece of paradise only time they frown when she asked will you take them back to America. They have Just Escape from Deliver Us from Eva. You can tell the lighter-skinned brother was still shell-shocked like the pimp was on the movie😂😂😂 and the pimp was D-Wade and a lighter skinned brother was LL COOL J😂😂😂 (Proverbs 21:9) 06-14-23

As a Black American who was in the Philippines for a month for the first time, I felt exactly the same way. I was on a elevator and a family of women and a baby was not threatened by me at all entering the elevator. In fact, the little baby reached out to my hand to touch my hand and everyone watched as the baby finger and mine touched and at the moment our fingers did touch, we all cheered and smiled delighted. My heart still is moved by this subtle gesture of kindness, it was at this moment, I knew the Philippines was nothing like the United States where people find it very hard to smile let alone get on a elevator with a decent and respectful Black man. The Philippines is paradise.

I was watching a vlog of a guy Paul who's retired in Dumagete from Las Vegas. He said in USA if kids came up to him, as a man, he's thinking, "get that kid away from me," because here in the States, you don't want the unwanted and unwarranted suspicion you'll get just talking to kids. However, when he came to the Phils, he said kids would walk up to him and at first he was taken aback then realized the parents encouraged it. He said he likes chatting with kids now. My take on it is this: In the West, society has been brainwashed that men are violent, toxically masculine patriarchal sh*tlords, which is beyond disrespectful, misplaced and borderline paranoid. However, in the Phils, they know 99% of men are good, wise, protective of children. Therefore, they want their kids to communicate with them.

We shop at the wet market but also the local supermarket so he can get a taste of the west. We always have money left over that we save for day trips or whatever. Also, we still save another $3000 from his VA disability that goes straight into an American savings account that we don't touch. We live in a modest house that we built a few years back. We sacrificed in the U.S. so we could save for this. He is 100% retired and he is only 50. I am 38. Keep trying everyone! The dream is real if you want it to be.

I was living on $1000 a month in the provinces WITH my wife, including a 2 bedroom, 2 story house in a gated community. In Lapu Lapu was $1500, and Baguio was $2000. Baguio was expensive only because we lived almost right next to Burnham Park. As far as bringing a Filipina back to the West... I agree to an extent. You have to know your woman and know her character and strengths. My wife has been here 5 years, and she's still awesome and, while she has changed, she hasn't been changed by people to become a Westerner. Her big change is that she works her ass off in a good job. So, from the 6th of 7 children who depended on family, to taking care of herself, me, and her family in the Philippines. She loves her job and everything that comes along with it. The point... she knew who she was BEFORE she came to the States and was happy with who she was. So, everything happening here in the USA isn't going to change her. Part 2 didn't disappoint. Thanks to those guys for an excellent interview.

Pea, These guys just voiced exactly what we American guys are all painfully aware of here in the US. That is, our country over the last 50 or so years has destroyed our family units. Our women have literally been taught that starting and nurturing a family has no value. They place more importance on competing with men for careers and money than caring for their loved ones. Many women here literally have hatred for men because they have been taught that we oppress them by wanting to provide for them and care for them. It is the real reason that many Western men go to the PI and other countries to find a mate that actually values their efforts. It breaks my heart that my country has become so disconnected from family and each other.

Good fun video. I grew up with black guys like this starting when I was 10 years old throughout college. The culture is way different but my track and cross country teammates were so laid back, cracking jokes, playing cards and hitting clubs. I traveled 3000 miles by car one summer with two black guys from Florida to California. It was a hilarious trip and this is how you get to know about different cultures. This is what most Expats have never experienced. They never have been around other cultures, never dated an Asian or person who is multi ethnic, are socially awkward around people who are not like them and are actually scared. One thing I would have liked in this video is to see the view looking at the ocean I hear as well as the inside of the place in which they live. Is it a house or apartment? Bedrooms and baths? Kitchen? Yard? Privacy as I heard no dogs or roosters. I do love the sound of the ocean as it reminds me of living on a Houseboat in Key West where I had my own coral reef beneath the boat. I did have an outdoor shower and my hot water was a 200 gallon tank heated by the sun. This is what I hear in this video and you can't beat the beauty and sounds of nature.

Awesome perspectives from these two guys. It's funny how they talk about things you've discussed in previous videos which makes all your older videos more concrete for informational stand points. The want Dale looked when he talked about Doug telling him "Welcome to Paradise" and the difference in his posture about the statement after he had only been there a week was the telling sign of the truth behind the statement. Thanks for running part 2 on the day after part 1 Pea. It keeps all the information from the previous video fresher in our minds. Looking forward to Friday's video already.

A lot of brothers in the US aren't used to women treating them with respect. "Babe can you get me a drink from the kitchen?". "Your legs aren't broken". They aren't used to women being nice and doing things just to make you happy. At first it can cause some of us to feel uncomfortable, but eventually we understand this is true peace and feminine energy 🎉

I'm from Grand Rapids Michigan which is about 2.5 hours from Detroit. I've been here in the Philippines for about three months now. I left one month prior to my 50th birthday. I'm still very youthful in many ways, however, the one thing I dreaded the most was getting older in the U.S. as an Afro American male. The lack of respect that a lot of brothers have towards one another is at an all time high! They don't care about going to prison over a mistaken McDonald's order. This isn't about gender against gender, this is about evil people doing devilish things with no end in sight. The Philippines is an awesome place to be right now. If you have made it through the maze of life without getting a felony and you want better for your future as a black man. Get out of Amerikkka ASAP! Not to mention how the women are trained to keep you in line at almost all costs. There is next to no winning there. 😢 May God Help Our Son'ys and Daughters

Love the CLEOPATRA skit, you really make me think in a great way with these two (2) great videos 📹.

Good day Pea. Again a wonderful video. I am always amazed by how knowledgeable you are about western culture. Your little jokes and anecdotes about movies, shows and our way of life here is amazing. There are no other vloggers or content creators about life in Phils that come close to you. Peace and love to you and yours........G

I am semi retired but my wife still works here I want her to get a pension from here when she returns there she is 20 years younger than me so far bringing her here has been a good thing, she has been here 10 years now but I know what the guys were saying about not to do it, I am very lucky but that does not ring true for alot of people they are right and I have seen what they say here they can turn into the western women from hell lol. but thank you for your videos I love them but these two are the greatest keep doing it take care cheers Lloyd

Number one, these guys are dropping’ gold nuggets Pea! Good job with this vid! But Since I had my time there in PI, I must say I enjoyed my time there. Now if I was there I would be living well with my current finances. Now granted I will be a humble person. I will not leave myself as a king or queen or live like I know everything. My goal is to join the culture and help improve the culture anyway I can. If I do find my lady that God has given, I will be 100% grateful & hopefully be an influence. Long term commitment is my goal & please I won’t be that… PLAYER. To me that is ugly American trolling for women. My life is patience, friendship, learning the basic language, blessing God & doing what they say… living my best life. Tick Tock PI, till I can say, I am here!

Thanks for this video from two well mannered men. The image that the United States love to push is that black men are bad. If you get outside the image the American liberals especially the white liberals love to push about black, masculinity and manhood on the lowest group in our community. The majority of black men haven’t been to jail and the majority of black men don’t have children by multiple women 54% of black men don’t have children at all, and is single in America. My Filipina girlfriend was afraid of Black people because of the imagery that she saw on television until she had one encounter with speaking with a black American and then she realize it the person was really nice and respectful. And even on the dating sites, she stated that every black man she spoke with, never ask her to show nudes and was very respectful to her, and from there her mind was changed.

Look at how happy, relaxed, hopeful, and fulfilled these men are. Look at how relaxed and mutually appreciative the men and woman act with each other. This is what nature intended, men being men and women being women, and it looks so easy for them. No hate, vile bitterness, no disrespect. This truly is natures secret paradise! I think God/nature gave us this place as a refuge and reward for all the crap we have had to endure.

Douglas definitely has lived in the Philippines for 6 years. He also dropped a few hints as to why he has two places one of them in Bayawan. I'm surprised Pea didn't catch it or maybe she didn't want to go there. The band The Eagles had a song called "The Last Resort" there's a line in that song that says "You call someplace paradise Kiss it goodbye" Hopefully, the Philippines stays like it is for a while longer so I can get there before it changes.

Dale cracks me up. I live in the Philippines and had the same experience. I found out that it is my role as the man to bring home the bacon, or if only Spam and rice, that's ok, and her job is to manage the home (including grocery stores). My wife claimed the grocery cart, end of story. Why she wants the cart I have no idea, but she owns it now. I was going to do the pushing for her and help her out -- but it's "I'll take the Cart." Ok, I got it no problem. But I'll help you cook dinner. "No, me and the daughters will cook dinner." Ok, I got it. But I have a new recipe I want you to try. "Ok, show me once. After that, I got it, stay out of the kitchen." Ok, I got it. So I'm working in my Office around 5:30pm, the wife is not home, and I said to myself, "Oh boy, I get to cook my dinner." Hell no, in total surprise, in marches my two daughters into my office with my dinner, my drink, and my napkin. They already cooked my dinner, and it was sooo yummy -- and healthy. Later they bring in the dessert. "Thank you babies, I really appreciate that," now I can continue looking at the Filipina Pea videos while I'm eating. The wife pays all the bills, she organizes the house, if something is broke, she calls someone to fix it, and her and the kids bring and pick up the laundry from the cleaners. However, the kids only send 20-30% of their clothes to the laundry. They want to wash most of their clothes by hand in the bathroom, and hang them outside to dry so they can get them in operation sooner and not wait 4 days to pick up the laundry. It will also save the family money they say. Ok, I got it. My daughters sing and laugh all day and night. Karaoke experts. They always make me smile and feel good. If my computer is not working, orI can't figure out my phone, or the TV isn't working right -- no problem, call a daughter, and she has it fixed in 30 seconds. That's life in a Filipino family.

Excellent video (as per usual)....... just one debatable comment; in the USA you CAN live comfortably on 2k per month provided: (1) U live in a "rural" area (2) Live a frugal "lifestyle". Even in the Philippines IF you have have a 2k monthly disposable income you can still go broke if you don't live a "sustainable" lifestyle.
@PhilCherry3

The difference in living in the U.S. on $2,000/month & doing so in the Philippines or Thailand is this. In the U.S. the man living on $2,000 per month will have to live in a rural area or in a distressed urban setting. In the rural setting the man will have extremely limited opportunities to meet acceptable attractive women. In the urban setting he will have to endure exposure to high crime AND have almost no opportunities to meet acceptable attractive women. If he is over 50 yrs. old, his sex life will be no-existent as women will treat him like a ghost. Now compare that to what these men in this video and other Expats are saying about the Philippines. Let's see; two choices...a beautiful setting with beautiful women of all ages who still cherish men of all ages where your $2,000 makes you a king vs. sitting at home in physical and sexual isolation; too broke to do much, just waiting to die? Hmm, that a hard one!🙄🙄🙄
@Buildsolarhomes

@@PhilCherry3 U made some very valid points, but let's not forget there are no shortages of American/western Expats who have gone broke in the Philippines. There are plenty of videos that tell that side of the story. Yes, you can live comfortably on 2k USD in the Philippines (IF) (in my opinion) you live like the locals. Of course HOW to live, lifestyles, etc are very subjective from person to person. There is no specific 🍪 🔪 cookie cutter that will work for everyone. Some can live off of 1k monthly, while others realistically (depending on lifestyle) needs more than 2k.

I'm familiar with the belief that taking a Filipina to the West will cause her to become "Westernized". While this may be true for a few, my experience is that a traditional Filipina will retain her culture even abroad. A leopard doesn't change its spots, and you can take the girl out of the Philippines, but you can't take the Philippines out of the girl. 😉😉

I dont agree with you. Im not saying it will never be positive, but the risk is sky high. Society and other western women will have a huge influence on your woman. Slowly but surely you will see subtle changes, it will not register or cause panic, till the day she loses respect for you and feels she can do better.

@@FrankSouza-ss7cz well my Filipina has been here for two decades and is still a traditional Filipina, along with all her Filipina friends. So, my opinion is based on my experience. I'm sure there are some bad apples out there as there are within any culture. Perhaps you have experience with those.

I have multiple uncles and male cousins who married women from overseas and brought them to the US. They are still married decades later. But, my family on my father's side are from Haiti. So the women in my family are more traditional. On my mother's side, they are from Alabama. They too are traditional. If you bring her back, keep her in an area that is traditional. Don't have her in the city life, with all these 304s. They may poison her mind.

I agree with the guy who says Philippine is a paradise. That also explains why most Filipinos, will be very happy to get out of this "Paradise" to any other country they can live better than in the "Philippine Paradise". Few days ago, I met few university students and asked them: If they think Philippines is a paradise. And they answered me in a choir: "Philippines is not a paradise". As William Shakespeare said: "You have money or you don't have money? That is the question".
