There's absolutely nothing British about his accent. His is just an adopted accent - meaning, he's faking it. Same goes for the analyst lady. And her stop sign/traffic light analogy is all made up. They don't erect stop signs at traffic lights rather, at intersections where there are no traffic lights.
@DamaniDanDadar

Neither one of their "accents" is faked. His diction is just more proper and he pronounces his words clearly. It is still quintessentially Nigerian. For her, she talks like many Nigerians who have lived in the US a long time. It is a blend of Nigerian and American English but more American in pronunciation. Nothing fake about it, especially for those who emigrated to the US when younger. In fact, such adult Nigerians may still speak pidgin English just fine, but have lost the ability to speak regular Nigerian English the way Nigerians speak it. Strange but true. Ditch your inferiority complex and accept them for who they are.

A stop sign at an intersection with traffic lights? - odd! Her anecdote about the stop sign and the fine just does not make sense. If they indeed placed a stop sign at the lights and the enforcement camera went off when she moved on green, she could successfully contest the fine. But I think the anecdote was made up.

I know off course this situation of a thing can happen in advance countries ask me how, if you're buying a car from any dealership store ask them to give you a spare key of the particular car, otherwise instore tracking device on the vehicle so that you will be able to monitor the vehicle on your phone, because the same people will come one day and take the car from you unaware within a minute and go and sale it as a scrap for cash beware From South Africa.
