@@theVRpilot Not the entire ICP is mil-spec; only the switches. The 4 way DCS switch I ordered at Mouser (contact via mouser.com and request a quote for part number 999-T4-CN211N and specifically ask for the square bat and include a picture to make sure they select the correct one)

It all depends on how good you are to manufacture pieces of your own vs purchasing premade stuff, and how realistic you want it (e.g. correct locking type switches & knob types vs from the shelfs DIY store switches) Be sure to register op viperpits.org. There's over 1,5 decade of knowledge on that forum. Ranging from cheap and DIY solutions to insane high fidelity pits.

@@stefellbt For manufacturing pieces, do you advise to purchase a cnc machine for yourself or just go straight to some shop to get it done? Which one would me more economical? Also, the electrical part, do we have any programming to make it match with the in game?

@@KhoaNguyen-gl2zg Depends on how skilled you are and how fast you can learn I assume. Check viperpits, there are several people offering readily custom made F-16 pit parts, that's perhaps more expensive but immediately correct :) Electronics, several options. I found Pokeys to be the most practical.

No, because each time you spawn into VR 3D your head will be a little bit offset to the previous time and to the actual cockpit. It will not be properly aligned in 99,99% of the time. @@stefellbt excellent!! I have always been dreaming to build one when I was a kid. It wasn’t easy back then, As there was no Arduino, no 3D printer, no online resources. I think it is more doable nowadays, even though it is still not an easy project.

The bezel with OSB's? Those are standard Thrustmaster MFD's. The displays behind them are 2x 10.4" LCD's to use for RWR & MFD left, and SADI, FFI & MFD right.

@@humberto367 Yes, it's a transparant acrylic front plate painted black in the front and laser engraved with the labels. The pcb behind it has green leds, so when activated, the leds shine through the lasered parts of the front panel.

@@YgorMontenegro No it's not a problem. In this video I hadn't activated my trackIR, but I have a headmotion tracker built into my HGU-55/P helmet. I can activate and deactivate it with a switch so when dogfighting or having to fly in formation or something I can just activate it. You can't, this is custom made. All parts bought in several places. If you want a good starting point, take a look at viperwing.com Other suppliers of several parts are realsimulator.com, www.realsimworld.dk, vipergear.eu Viperwings is Polish, Vipergear is Dutch, realsimulator is Spanish and RealsimWorld is Danish. So all those shops are within the European Union. I don't really know any shops that offer things in the US or Asia. Also become a member of the www.viperpits.org forum, endless information on custom pit builds you can find there.
