This thing is a flying supercomputer with amazing technology. The pilot can just sit back press some buttons and destroy fighters and ground targets without breaking a sweat. It totally outclasses anything flying today

Crazy. The way all planes & distant AWARCS are interlinked together is the key. Incredible force multiplying tech that ANY fleet of combat aircraft, stealthy or otherwise, can greatly benefit from. Russia take note...

+mbaxter22 LOL you just showed that you dont even know what youre talking about. The Russians have had full data link between planes and ground radar for many decades, and thats no exaggeration. They're far more advanced in this field. The US is only now starting to do it. That was some ignorant shit lmao. Usually people who want to troll have some idea about the subject and choose to ignore it.

Ouija: MiG-31 never had, and doesn't have AESA. It has PESA. Russia has never had anything like what is show in this video. Russian cockpits are just catching up with early 1980s US cockpit configurations, because Russia lacked capability to make good electronics. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Russia went throng a decade of stagnation and degradation, while trying to buy every piece of Western avionics possible. Meanwhile, the US was pursuing 5th Gen fighters that were envisioned in the 1970s and 1980s. Russian BVR missile operational history is embarrassing if you've ever studied it. There are only a few examples really with R-27, which has a 0% pk so far in BVR WEZ. Russia can't even make a domestic market cell phone, let alone comparable fighter avionics to the US.

OMFG love Russian trolls coming with bold claim with literally 0 proof. The best demonstartion is Syria where Russian said their SAM systems are networked with Syrian SAM (tass.com/defense/962057), giving Syrian boarder info while not having the need to fire themself. What's the result? Israel still roam over Syrian skies like their home and Russian are so afraid of an another Mole Cricket 19 they had to abandon Iran and stop selling Syrian S-300. An another case is F-22 intercepting Su-25 which in turn attarcted a Russian Su-35 who came in to save Frogfoots. Isn't it weird Russian are not bragging about F-22 detection and that _"Su-35 radar locked F-22"_ ? What kind of "datalink" this is? All you said are theories without proofs. Here is real-life result.

Fascinating stuff. I wonder, though, if it's a bit too much to handle, information wise, with the stress of combat applied. Moving cursors, split screens, waiting on aperture radar results, icons for just about everything, etc. Either way, a marvelous aircraft with memorizing ingenuity.

You know, there is not much known or released about the pak-fa and neither the j-20. i know that the f-35/f-22 are way too expensive per unit and that a lot of customers will cut down their orders for f-35. But that and the fancy avionics-shows is all we know about. so what we can basically observe, is that a few ppl who definitely know, what everybody knows since 1995, are amused of the facts available. they sure won't be amused over the dirty little details they don't know about.

IN the world comming in at 28 degrees per second at 20 thousand ft. that is SUSTAINED. Higher than most other aircrafts INSTANTANIOUS. You have quite obviously gotten confused in regards to the F-22. It is a VERY manueverable fighter.

I mean why else would it be thrust vectored? The whole point of that was to MAKE it a supermanueverable aircraft. Please, I implore you to educate yourself in regards to the F-22 at least. You are correct in your assertion regarding the F-35 ( even though its designed to perform under a combat load and actually does ok with that in mind) But you are DEAD WRONG about the F-22. "The fate of the F-35 Lightning II would be far worse in an air combat environment challenged by the PAK-FA. If the Mach 1.5 PAK-FA is using its infrared sensor as the primary sensor and observes radio frequency emission control (EMCON), then the first detection by the F-35’s APG-81 radar could be at ~20 nautical miles or less with a missile launched by the PAK-FA’s infrared sensors already inbound from 60 to 70 nautical miles away. " APA think tank.

Su-35 is outdated junk, compared to this. Su-35 with its huge RCS can be tracked at 460km, this one at 100km. Also the Su-35 can't hover. F-35 is 3x more expensive, but could kill 6 Su-35. It reduces operating cost, pilot cost, and more.

You're full of shit. The F-22 and the F-35 are nothing alike in term of kinematic performance. The F-22 is designed to be supermanuverable. With thrust vectoring and a thrust-to-weight ratio of 1.26 at 50% fuel, it is the first production aircraft in the U.S. arsenal to be supermaneuverable. In fact go and type supermaneuverability into google and see what comes up , I dare you. Then watch this video /watch?v=GW2Hvu_mUdU Lastly as I said earlier, the F-22 has the best sustained turn (cont)

+rsx123 Things the F-35 has, that the F-16 does not... 1) 2.5x the internal fuel 2) Stealth 3) Better radar (even better than the newest AESA for the F-16, as it's bigger) 4) DAS (IR sensors all around the jet, 360 spherical coverage). 5) AN/ASQ-239. Essentially a RWR on steroids. The F-16's RWR doesn't come close. 6) Sensor fusion. The F-16 has no fusion. All sensor information is shown on different screens. The F-35 has a fusion server that takes all the sensor data, and paints a single picture of the battlespace. It even automatically queues other sensors (such as the EOTS) to gather more detail on a target if needed.
