Crash: 3:51
This was a 20 driver race combining the Senior TAG drivers with the Master TAG drivers due to the Master class not having enough drivers.
Transponder didn't work during qualy so I started in last. After the green flag, T1 was very smooth and no incendents. Then came T2 where the driver in the position spun out causing everybody to either spin out as well or crash into each other. Unfortunately, was unaware of the incident until I actually got there and the was a driver ahead of me. Everything sort of happened all at once and I really couldn't do much.
For everyone who is concerned, yes I am ok and was not hurt at all. I got right up with a smile and wanted to record the kart damage :). I was mostly sore from the practice the day before and earlier that day, but I felt excellent. At first, I thought it was the adrenaline, but I later calmed down, and I was completely fine. The kart was heavily damaged but luckily Fulkrum got it back up and running before the final! Then... the chain blew off due to the engine mounts being loose. The brakes wear not full power either but wasn't a huge deal.
I learned from that day was days like this are going to happen whether I like it or not. I need to fail in order to succeed and do better. It's all apart of the learning curve.
