I have an F100dl and I also had this problem with incorrect glucose levels and blood pressure. I went to my endocrinologist and he checked my fasting glucose and measured my blood pressure. With this information I calibrated the app and now the watch works very well. It's not perfect, but it's very close to the values indicated on the equipment used by doctors, and by the way, my doctor was impressed. Of course, you shouldn't abandon clinical examinations.

I’ve seen a few reviews of this watch, and it says you must calibrate the glucose sensor before use, using the app. In the Health settings, it has a “Before meal” and “after meal” setting, where you are supposed to use a real glucose monitor, check your blood glucose, and enter that value. I assume this compensates for differences between people’s skin type, thickness, etc. I assume unless its just nonsense, the watch must also take a glucose reading at the time you enter the calibration data, otherwise it’s just some nonsense that limits the range of randomly reported values. As with any inferential reading, its not going to be accurate or have instantaneous response, but I think what most people want to know is if it at least trends in the right direction somewhat proportional to what actual blood glucose is doing. I can eat zero carbs and not get low blood sugar, so I don’t need it to save my life, i just need it to give me a clue about what my insulin is doing. And since there are no insulin monitors it would be second order inferential reading. We can assume is blood sugar goes up and then starts coming down, insulin was released. And if blood glucose drops down to baseline we can assume insulin has at least reduced enough to stop trying to lower blood glucose. I would say any of these which cant be calibrated are nonsense. We know the real glucose meter mist be calibrated with a standard solution and any device trying to take a reading from skin needs to be calibrated.

4.5 is the lower level of the ok area and 6.5 is the top. However on 4.5 I feel dizzy and weak. But if you would make this review seriously you would also measure with these watches on thin air whether if it measures whatever or just a random generator, also you would use a decent blood sugar and blood pressure measurer in front of the camera too for control.

You have to calibrate to make it work… and switch to mmol/dl. I’ve been comparing with my own glucometer and it’s been right on a dot… I’m assuming you have no medical background… please do some research before you review this watch…. I have most of my coworkers who are icu nurses purchased this to monitor their numbers and we’ve been very pleased….

Have you set the fasting blood glucose level as the base, one for calibration? You need to do this from an actual fasting blood glucose test so the watch, through the App, know your baseline. Blood pressure is the same, needs to be set for calibration.

It shoots red laser light into your skin. It is highly suspect if red laser light therapy actually does anything at all. Certainly nothing documented in any publications.

A great watch, at least it works. The displayed blood sugar value is far too low, and the blood pressure is not even remotely displayed properly. asking so much money for it is ridiculous. I've been using the watch for about three to four months now, the only correct value is the sleep time

So, I sort of agree with you, but I also believe they are experimenting with real technology to get real-world feedback until they get it right. The sensors are definitely responding to something, but I don't think they have tuned in the sensitivity yet. It is a shame that traditional beta testing is dead and these companies just release these watches on unsuspecting customers as a true beta test.
