The f22a6 head on a f23 block is the best combo i have seen by far and check out brough performance that cb7 flys

Only difference in the A6 and A1 is the cam I’m pretty sure. I bet some higher comp pistons would really wake it up

Sounds like a better idea with the 22 head, f23 has a different exhaust port design. But you could lock the vtec system if did you want to keep the same head

My only worry would be that the supposedly when VTEC is locked, having both spring loads on one cam flattens it pretty quickly (I’ve heard) and since it will be daily driven, I figure, the more longevity, the better.

Makes sense, thought I heard that the f23 runs 3 valves a cylinder until vtec is engaged. Still working my F23/b swap currently. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Are you just using accord axles for the swap of an f series in your civic?

No, I was F2B, meaning a B series transmission, so I just used B series axels
