This is why I like DLGs too. Before, my models were big and heavy and I needed a bungee or a winch, an assistant and a car or some way to transport everything to the field. It is a liberating experience to decide to use just one model with a transmitter and a few bits and pieces in a bag - then go find somewhere to throw!

Was going to ask this over on the forum, after your posted about it on the mini. So basically it keeps you from diving down when in a turn, and makes it one less thing you have to worry about Thanks

Dude, your videos are such a great ressource, thanks once more! Question: What is the mixture setting? 100% aileron to 33% flapperon I estimate by looking at your glider?

Thank you for the great videos! Do you use snap flap in all flight modes? You mention in your other video not to use aileron in thermals. Do you mix aileron differential from the rudder? If so, do you have this Rud-Ail mix in all flight modes or just thermal mode? I am new to DLG, I really appreciate your help.

I prefer the new, more personal intro. May I suggest that you lower its sound level as it is much louder than the video itself.

beautiful turns!! Do you have the elevator deflection set with a maximum amount or is it just based on how much aileron input you use?? your videos are great.

Paul Sage the amount of elevator depend of the feeling you have . If you Feel you need more or not . The snap flaps is an optimisation of the setting

May I ask, how many millimeters of up and down flaps do you use for the max elevator throws? tnx
@pierremeunier

Hi Robert , It really depend about your model and your piloting style . You can try 4 mm down and 3 mm up for start ;)

Thank you. Adding snap flaps to my DLG made an incredible improvement in how flat and tight it turns in lift and how fast it gains altitude.
