i think this is a fantastic trip. when i was the first time on F27 i did not find on the map where the junction would lead. next time i was there i had not the time to drive there, I thinked it will be not interesting. Never hat the idea that the way will go to Askia. I hope i will have time this year and wil be able to find the junction. thanks a lot for the tip.

Perfect video To prepare a trip. Thank you very much, I'm really fan of this kind of video. Never hesitate to show us the most misunderstood road :)

We drove the F910 from Nyidalur to Dreki yesterday. It took us 6 hours, a very long and exhausting road. Fog/clouds, very poor visibility, some of the poles on the lava fields blown over by the wind, making it extremely difficult to find the right way and not get lost. July 26, temperature 6 degrees, wind. There is no coverage on most of the route, so there is no way to call for help. The route according to my calculations is 95 km. Now imagine that you damaged your car and you have to walk 50 km on volcanic boulders, in fog, wind, at 5 degrees to catch the signal and call for help ... I don't mean to scare you, but this is really no joke. The beginning part and the final part are the easiest (although this word sounds funny because for most people it will be a very difficult path), while the middle part is the extreme. Very sharp protruding boulders, you have to be careful all the time not to burst the tire or damage the suspension. We drove our modified Nissan Pathfinder on 33 inch wheels with the suspension up and several times I scraped the undercarriage over boulders risking damaging the car and getting stuck because there was no other way around. We didn't meet anyone on the way. We were equipped with warm clothes, a supply of food and drink for a few days, we had parking heating in the car and the possibility of sleeping. Before leaving, we consulted with the guard in Nyidalur the road conditions and the capabilities of our car. It is true that we managed to cover this route, but if I had to drive this route with the experience I have after completing this route, I would recommend a car with even more raised suspension and even larger wheels than 33 inches. You need to have a paper map of this route with you or at least photos so as not to get lost because not all forks have signs. Of course, you won't find this road on Google Map, anyway, without coverage, it doesn't matter anyway. We drove the Botnlangalon track, which is described as one of the most difficult, and although our modified jeep barely managed to climb very steep mountains, I think that the F910 route from Nyidalur to Dreki is more difficult because it is very easy to damage the car with volcanic boulders and help it's very hard to summon and it's very far away. Nevertheless, it is an amazing experience that is worth experiencing. The middle volcanic part is very similar to Mordor xD
