Ive been wearing safety boots for over 40 years now. Even at home. Its just a habit. Never wore sandals at all. Plus who wants to see my ugly toes😅 Actually the boots were required where i retired from. The company gave the employees Safety clothing and shoes allowance. So there was no excuses for not wearing safety gear.

I love the sandles with white safety socks. Reminds me of the night I first got my CWT Multi-Bal 5000 back in ‘07. After the wife went to bed, I went out to the shop, nothing but a bathrobe and sandles with white socks. I was fly cutting pistons and runnin’ the balancer and here she comes… “What if your bathrobe gets caught by that spinning crankshaft?” she asked. I sheepishly shut’er down and went into bed. 😂

you mentioned it having been belt sanded, or what i call whiz wheel buffed with scotch brite pads. as you mentioned the oem machining marks seen in some areas, sanded away in others. once you had it set up, dialed in before decking began. the lighting and shadowing on the opposite bank proved your thoughts!. it was clear as day and very obvious for the nah sayers to witness themselves. i enjoy all the information, advice, and watching your methods. your approach is better than many here on youtube who are overly loud, vocally lecturing while attempting to prove how superior they are with knowledge vs helping others learn. another enjoyment is not having obnoxious over bearing music playing that i find distracting, typically playing while we are trying to hear whats being said. too many here i feel try to make themselves to be movie stars, video editors, production managers which detracts from the enjoyment of subscribing and watching. music in the off vocal moments, such as you did not while talking fully acceptable. i come here to your channel every day to see what you have done next and have passed along to other techs such as myself that your channel is informative, enjoyable and you as a person, very pleasant & at times comical. very down to earth. thank you

We really appreciate you!!, yep we are not movie star's nor want to be, I feel the "knowledge and practice " of this trade are just not well know and... this industry is desperate for new blood with critical thinking skills and a desire for excellence, so anything I can do to propagate that I will!

@Dougisgoingcrazy that's a perfect example of why we try our best to get customers to communicate in emails, that way there's no confusion and no amnesia, and we have a record of all conversations, it's just so much easier, and nobody is confused.

I'm sure you are passing on great info, put I think there is something wrong with your audio. Another guy I watch (Gold's Garage) has the same problem. Sounds checks before he makes a video are good, but once he uploads it to KZitem, the sound quality is very poor.

Thanks again for showing me something I've heard of but never seen. It all makes sense, but it becomes reality when you actually show the process. Set up, the dial indicator, the milling machine, the milling. Blows my mind. But everything has to be down to a gnats ass on or it's a waste of time. Thank you Sir. You're amazing. Some day you son will understand the gift you are passing on to him. He's seems to be a really good young man, and I commend him. Signed, "Old Cobbler of Bailing Wire and Duck Tape."
