Guiding Peru Out of the Risk Zone
Join us as we transform lives in Trujillo, protecting 80,000 residents from flood risks. In partnership with Mace, Gleeds, and the Peru National Infrastructure Authority (ANIN), we’ve designed a 1.2km basin, a 20km canal, and a stepped discharge structure to safely manage rainwater flow from the mountains to the sea.
Watch our latest ‘Faces of Change’ mini-documentary to learn about this crucial phase in flood defence development, and the El León Gully project-a testament to community partnership, cultural heritage, and a lasting legacy. This is just the beginning, with 16 more river defence systems to follow!
