Factory-built Volvo S60 Challenge race car. Volvo Motorsport built approximately 32 of these Volvo S60 Challenge race cars to compete in the Volvo S60 Challenge series, a support series for the STCC from 2001-2007. This particular car won the S60 Challenge Championship in 2007 by either Tommy or Tobias Brink. The car was then campaigned in the Dutch Supercar Challenge, and then imported into the United States by myself. In 2010 I won a NASA GTS3 Championship with the car.
The S60 Challenge features a slightly modified but sealed 2.3L T5 engine, and outputs approximately 310hp. The engine is mated to a Tractive AB 5-speed FWD dogbox, featuring a Tractive AB clutched and adjustable differential, lightened single-mass flywheel, and a Sachs Motorsport clutch. Additional components of this car include Ohlins 2-way adjustable race dampers with 900-1200# springs depending on setup, air jacks, AP Racing 4-piston/355mm front brakes, 100% metallic suspension and engine mounts, OZ Ultraleggera wheels, and more. Have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
