Seagrapes, Coccoloba uvifera are Florida natives of coastal communities throughout the Americas that are protected here in Florida along our beach dunes as they protect against erosion. These hardy broadleaf plants can grow over 25’ in height and are extremely salt-tolerant with indistinct flowers and edible berries that can be used to make jellies and jam.
They do best in USDA Hardiness Zones 10-11, but we find they do well in North Florida where protected against freezing temperatures.
Bring these coastal beauties into your landscape from the Earth Works Garden Center.
