Most chill behavior I've ever seen from an autistic child ever. She is focused without distraction or distress, her responses are also indicating of attention taken, she listens to prompts and cues without needing repetition. I worked with autism respite and loved the work but it was very task oriented requiring of much multitasking and attention to detail of required house chores while remaining attentive of client needs. The client I worked with who was a very curious child had various needs that needed special attention. She definitely would not have been able to fade prompts this easily. This is definitely a new take on fading in behavioral analysis and modification that you are showing for sure.

I respect your theory in Most-to-Least Prompts. However, I was unable to identify the practical use of this application with the development of a child's independence. The prompt reduction method shown may inadvertently reinforce either "Prompt Dependency, or Routine Development." To ensure proper skill development, the adult should apply age appropriate tasks trials for the set goals and maintain various reinforcers.

thank you, i continue to learn everyday to help those who cannot help themselves, and there is no such thing as knowing everything ever! I work with school board, and trained in ABA, IBI, and others! very stressful job, but nothing better than making a difference and caring one step at a time, kudos to you and Namaste! And u Justin have no patience, as most people who are not clinicians. ABA and IBI IS THE MOST highly effective form, so until u can think of better plan and prove successful.....!

as it does, not age level, rather than developmental level, this is what a 3 minute clip, lol! Doesn't document how child was before or years after!

do you need help with ASD, I am thinking so. So while frustrating do not knock top of line therapy and the positive gains of this technique, in your mind, yes may sound ridiculous, and ignorant, but a child with a disability's mind is a much different world! You need to educate yourself especially if you are dealing with this in own life, or else you wouldn't care and absolutely wouldn't be watching this for shits and giggles!
