Really enjoyed this as always 👍 When I was a child I had 2 very strange imaginary friends and as an adult I have had what I can only assume were very strange fairy experiences? My point being 🤔 are they sort of the same thing ? My recommended read would therefore be 'Invizikids' by Michael J Hallowell . I also would recommend T C Lethbridges books which through his dowsing and inquisitive mind give another insight into vibrational fields. I loved his books and have done my pilgrimage to 'Hole House', Branscombe, Dorset where he lived. My last recommend book would be Donald Hoffman 'The Case Against Reality : How Evolution Hid The Truth From Our Eyes' which really throws a spanner into how I thought I was and what an earth is really out there 😵💫

Love the recommendations, just spent some ebay dollars on “The Kingdom of the Gods”. I love that kind of writing. It reminds me of a book I found a couple of months ago, the wonderfully titled “Art Magic, Or Mundane, Sub Mundane, and Super Mundane Spiritism by Emma Hardinge Britten”…similarly victorian and impenetrable but also compelling and intriguing….keep up the great work….

I say it's mead. Great idea about the fairy music video, you must of course talk about Turlough O'Carolan and how he slept on fairy mounds to hear and remember the music he heard to play on his harp. As far as book recommendations go The Faery Faith by Serena Roney-Dougal would be a fabulous one to discuss and bring to the attention of the viewers and subscribers.

Kate , I agree that trauma can trigger these kind of experences. I had menigitis when I was 6 and it took 5 doctors to pin me down and stick a 6 inch needle in my spine to take spinal fluid. I was then seeing creatures emerging out of the walls aand ceilings the whole time i was in hospital and have had all kinds of mind bending experiences ever since

I found the connection of a Salamander being a water Nature Spirit interesting. In the late 19th Century when the Loch Ness Monster first surfaced (excuse the pun) in relatively modern times, it was referred to as the Great Salamander.

🇮🇪 I swear the following is true: I got (unknowingly) possessed by a faery when I was 14yrs old when I wandered into the local faery fort. After 'only' 40yrs lol, I eventually realised what had happened and I unwittingly got rid of him lately in a DIY Shamanic ritual (I was experimenting). He was quite nasty, always getting me into trouble, just interested in 'ruining my go.' Funny side-effects I've found so far because of the 'exorcism': My handwriting is so much better now and I can exercise at a much higher intensity level without that feeling that I want to give up the whole time. I have no interest in getting smashed or stoned like 'I' used to and life is way more enjoyable and interesting to me now 🙏

Apologies for the 2nd comment (time constraints meant I had to watch in 2 sittings) but I wanted to recommend a novel called Some Kind of Fairytale by a wonderful writer called Graham Joyce. Worth a look if you don't already know it

Have you read The Lost History of the Little People by Susan B. Martinez? I haven't but I just bought it and it's in my huge TBR pile.

I don't buy all my books from Amazon there are independent sellers who you can buy from through Amazon. As you never linked anything you promoted I tracked them down and will buy them as I need to get my Fay genre expanded.
